If you go back 30 or 40 pages in the thread you can see not just myself but a few other people in the tech field say how cancerous this is. This is their infamous phrase, "Yes, I am understanding", which means just that - I understand, not, I will do it. This is cancer for business and they know it. Like, nigga, we flew your brown ass out 8,000 miles, you think we just want you to say you understand? There are multiple cases, not just mine, of people figuring this out and pressing them, only for the Indian to keep repeating "I am understanding", which means that they KNOW they are trying to get out of work. Again, in my case, this was done right in front of higher-ups and they just let it happen. Imagine as a white dude, if I said, oh see where I come from a few states over, it's culturally acceptable for me to say "Fuk u nigga I heard what u said I'm not -doing- it tho nigga fuk u". Would they let me do it? No but they let Indians get away with it.I've just watched a Singapore-based PRChinese youtuber unreservedly praise how Indians always say yes to requests, no matter if they can actually do it or not.
Scary stuff, I really hope it doesn't catch on.
The very very scariest thing is when retarded women like this fall for the "Indians are so nice" and "Indians always say yes" without realizing the cost of their lies, HR is full of women like this and they make completely retarded decisions based off of it.
Another bullshit thing they do is the head bob. We already covered this in the thread but tl;dr, there is no consensus of head bobbing which way means yes or no. They KNOW when they do this they are using it to get out of work.
