I managed to find the original thread (archive) (unfortunately, the tranny mods have nuked the original post) and decided to check out the OP's post history. I came across this post.

Some things that are not mentioned in the post above but are mentioned in the Japanese Xitter thread (and other threads/articles linked in it):

a) The rape scene was originally featured in a Detective Conan movie, but it was actually removed from/censored in the TV broadcast. Some Xitter Otaku (probably the same guy who uploaded the rape scene) complained over how the TV channel didn't show the rape scene despite showing a murder scene that took place in the movie because "free speech". To this, the female manga artist replied that it was necessary to remove the rape scene since kids would be watching and they might get the impression that sexual violence is ok as long as it feels good [for the perpetrator]. Based on the reactions of these otakus, it's clear that there are more people than kids who shouldn't be allowed to watch rape scenes.
b) The female manga artist was a survivor of CSA and had posted about it in the past. The otakus managed to dig up these posts and said that they were going to do the same thing to her again.
c) The worst harasser, Kotatsu/Tarou the freedom of expression warrior (表現の自由戦士太郎 Hyougen no jiyuu senshi Tarou) has harassed other people in the past. One of the other women who got harassed managed to submit a personal information disclosure request to Xitter, and based on the information that Xitter sent to her, it's suspected that Kotatsu is in his 60s and a local representative of the Communist party in Kagawa prefecture.

I do agree with that post, however I do find it funny that, for a medium written exclusively by women, they don't usually center female characters or relationships; those that do devolve into the absolute worst cat fights followed by toxicity.

This is pretty much why I gave up on romance novels, which are also pretty much exclusively written by women (there are some troons writing them now though.)
