Depends somewhat on lifestyle and location but San Diego can be a lot more expensive than LA, and is more desirable IMO. Going to San Diego is a fucking trek tho, if you live in LA. LA traffic + 2 hours down to san diego. Thats a 4 hour round trip minimum. To talk on pod for an hour? They’d be better off in Irvine or Long beach if proximity to LA is a big concern.
Iirc Ian is from Carlsbad which is like 45 minutes north of San Diego city, maybe that area would be more feasible. I sense rage coming from Anisa if they do end up moving anywhere closer to HIS family, not her's.

Carlsbad is a very high end area. I doubt it’s going to save them money unless they are getting help from the parents. And it would still be like 3 hr round trip at least. Maybe if they had a studio space that was half way.
