Something similar to this is happening to the north in Scotland. The Presbyterian- Church of Scotland, which is much further along in their membership decline (they're now only 20% of Scotland, which the actual church going percentage in the single digits), has been selling off buildings left and right. In November 2023 Birine Kirke, which had been holding regular service since at least 1140 AD (nearly 900 years) held its final service. In January of this year they began letting the Roman Catholic Church use it again for monthly masses and evening prayers.

That's what it says on the website, Church of Scotland still owns the building until 2027 and can presumably set the terms for how much they'll allow the Catholics to use it until it hits the open market. Whatever the case it looks like, for the first time since the reformation, the Roman Catholic Church is back in operation in one of the oldest cathedrals in Scotland.
It's interesting to think that while you guys are on the decline in Germany you're simultaneously on the way up (albeit at a very slow rate) in Britain

I did a bit of digging and found this on the about page.
Seems to be an ecumenical effort to bring Anglicans and Scottish Episcopalians into full unity gently. According to the mass times list at least one of the churches under their control holds weekly Sunday mass, which is good. Wednesday mass also seems to be popular.

I've heard about this concept in the past, my understand is it creates a rare situation where the Catholic Church may accept an ordained married Anglican Priest who converts into the ranks of their clergy creating the ultra-rare situation of a married non-celibate catholic priest.
While Im well versed in Christory I don't really know much beyond the meme-lore for Fatrick.
Chris is a pitiable creature. I wasn't the least bit surprised that he internalized the Gospel, its very on-brand for him and it continues his trend of making whatever he consumes his whole personality. Its a real shame though, if Chris actually embraced the faith it might actually help him. After all through God anything is possible and if Catholicism can civilize Pajeets it can help Chris. Unfortunately he's so fucking dense that I don't know how anyone will manage to get through to him, especially now that he's surrounded by a cabal of enablers. If Chris had lived a couple hundred years ago his folks probably would have shipped him off to a monastery (or an asylum) and I think the strict structure of monastic life would have been good for him. He never really got the kind of attention and developmental aid he needed as a child and it shows. While I hesistate to say anyone is beyond saving, Chris is defintely a challenge.
As for Fatrick, like I said I don't know as much, is there something specific about him or his lore that is relevant to Catholicism? Based on what I do know he's vain and prideful but that's hardly unique.

Yes a very rare breed of clergy indeed. It's a concept I learned about when I first considered the Priesthood. It is the only way other than being a married permanent Deacon, to receive all 7 sacraments. If I manage to find someone worth marrying I hope to then become a permanent Deacon and receive all 7 sacraments that way.

Thank you for your response you are the first person I have met to talk about the good of catholicism. Its sad that catholics are depcited as pedos or pedo enablers in modern soceity.

I personally view the catholics as a group that started by mixing pagans and christians that were willing to live and let live with the pagans. That is not the worst thing ever I guess, but when this began more extreme Christians were persecuted and every Catholic I ever talk to about this is extremely sensitive and defensive about it and even the soy social media fact checkers disagree with them.
Also side note that I want to post, but do not want to double post. There is not a temple in existance I can fit into bros I don't want to be a preacher, but as someone who wants to study bible you would think you could find a place where you can discuss bible study with others, but here in the bible belt it is hyper down bad and hyper israeli shills. Even on non jq related topics barely any know of the book of enoch or have an open mind to other context at all and I feel like labelling religion as theology is counterproductive to believers because it makes what is supposed to be true almost like a fiction that guides you its truly strange and worries me greatly.

Most jewish people I have met in america are super liberal. My classmate and dear friend who is jewish constantly posts about christo facists in the gop. Its funny to contrast that with the gop who worship jews like gods which is blasphemous.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by this? Catholics have faced countless persecutions over the ages, and we routinely fought against pagans in the early days when they were actually a thing.
I'm not sure what you are trying to prove with this statement, the credibility of these sorts are very much in question. Should get your post fact checked by real American patriots

I have skimmed this some to make sure it is somewhat unbias. It can be very difficult to even find history regarding this without bias because every Catholic that I know will protest it. Prior to this I understand that pagans would cull Christians and vice versa. In this link it says he made his empire free of pagan, however from my own understanding of this topic it is only pagan free because the pagans that were down with this were okay with it because they got to keep their Dagon and their valentine and their saints so on and so forth.
That being said I would rather Catholic people than pagan people, but I wish that it could be discussed more without such defensiveness and absolutes. It is so old I wish there was even more documentation on it.
I am a non-denominational Christian because in my studies of various denomination I've yet to find one I 100% think lines up with scripture so I kind of get where you're coming from. With that said I would advise you to keep searching denominations and consider finding a non-denominational church that has a statement of faith and beliefs that you find biblical. I guess my main point is that you needn't feel pressured to find the "Right denomination" or group. If you're in the bible belt of the USA you should have your pick of plenty of churches to research.

I most closely relate to the SNM (sacred name movement) However I do feel something there with Book of Enoch I and I still have more studying and reading ahead of me. The things I don't like about the SNM is that much like the magical Gematria people do with their magical number connecting they just act as though possibly knowing a name is the key to the universe as well as a dangerous game of denying names for others even if it is logical can be damning.
This is a common slander against Catholicism by Protestants. I can tell by your inclusion of Valentine and other Saints, which have always been a Catholic thing and never had any pagan ties. The slander is rooted in the Protestant misconception that venerating Saints is idolatry.
I have no clue where you got the idea that dagon is still a thing. I had to look his ass up, some old Syrian false god. Absolutely no relation to Catholicism.
Any Pagans that bent the knee under Constantine certainly did not do so because they were given any concessions towards their false religion.
That said the Catholic Church has appropriated things that were once Pagan and devoted them to Christ instead. My favorite example is the Christmas Tree which was originally a Norse Pagan devotion to Thor in the form of Donar's Oak before a Catholic, Saint Boniface, came along, cut down Donar's Oak, used the wood to build a church, and thus evergreens became Christmas Trees.
I hesitate to ask given your stance on Israel but as someone whose adjacent, though not a member, to the Sacred Name Movement I'd be interested in knowing your viewpoint on Messianic Judaism.

I'll have to agree to disagree with you on that I won't bore you with my feelings why unless you like to hear them, but I doubt they change your mind and that is okay because to you. You are still living for Christ and God and to me that is good enough. You are far more polite and understanding of the situation than IRL counterparts and even I found it sus when soy factcheckers jumped on a pal's media post.
To Derrick:
To me from what I do know is that ALL of them know the Talmud too. If they really felt our Messiah was theirs they would not consider themself a jew.
If I attend your temple the only Israel I want to hear about is in books of the bible and not modern geopolitics.
Ps for Derrick
The very foundation of what started me towards this path that I am on and is the lack of the letter J from historical languages and then names given to historical or theological figures being too close to yiddish curses to call a coincidence considering what they wrote about said figure in said Talmud.
I would disagree that it is slander and yes, but there are far worse things one could do. Even the Christmas trees I have a book of Jeremiah stance and I am not in contest with you all to be more Christian because I am an imperfect man, but I want to understand fully what God wants of me, so that I can do right by him personally. These are just how I feel though and in these times even I can live with these things (which makes me no different than those that I criticise) , but long ago to disagree meant being fed to lions or the like. I only brought my view of Catholics up due to what you said about the pedo harrassment and I wanted to display probably an unusual and not common criticism from a protestant.
