Not my definition; at that point, Marx was not as influential (though he cheered the commune as it was ongoing). 'Communism' proper for historians seems to mean only full blown Marxist-Leninism of 35 years later.

Ryulong was a major player once upon a time, but the Wikipedia article with its parade of falsehoods is very much a team effort. You can look at the 60+ archives of the talk pages to see how persistently a group of users tag-teamed to make the article more and more misinformative over time. As an example, the renaming of the article to "harassment campaign" was due to GorillaWarfare (who has her own fairly quiet Prospering Grounds thread).

Other anti-GG users were subject to sanctions such as the insane MarkBernstein and the woke fanatic NorthBySouthBaranof. But many more were able to continue operating.

It's important to note that when it was nominated for deletion, the live article didn't refer to a "panic" but looked like this (first two paragraphs):

This documented and more reasonable article was then largely purged and replaced with the current nonsense about how the whole phenomenon is a fake panic by the far right. But the reason it was nominated for deletion is that this rewrite/purge was done after the nomination.

The sophistry here is that whites were the largest ethnic group of offenders, at about 40% - despite being like 87% of the population.
A lot of the sources seem to say that they don't have enough data on ethnicity, which appears to be Blob-ese for "this is politically inconvenient".

I've honestly had that moment with both sides of ths political hell machine almost a decade back now due to getting fucked by both in various ways. It hasn't gotten any better, and more people keep trying to get an in with either side of the "big club" keep trying to fuck me over harder every damn year as quality of everything degrades further due to the ever increasingly fake and performative hyper-politicization of every fucking thing in existence.
