I'm pretty sure the police have the photo (or can get it) via the phone records. They verified via phone records that he sent a message, meaning that he sent the photo via MMS and not signal. My understanding is that the phone company will have a copy of the image.

Someone else pointed out that Geno lives in New York. Physically showing it to Kenau means his action of showing her the picture took place in New York, not the St. Cloud county in Minnesota.

Hell, the cops that investigated live in Aaron's county, not Kayla's county. I expect that Geno would only be potentially in hot water IF he lived in Minnesota or shared it on the internet.

Interesting find. Right off the bat, this interview seems like a set up for Nick to proselytize his tale of events regarding the charges he (through Kayla) brought against Aaron. He leans hard on painting Aaron as some big serial harasser.

This Nobody’s Onions guy is a stooge in the way that he took the interview in order to give Nick a platform to spread his little tale, which plays fast & hard with the truth. It’s clear this is a set up, more so than the Rekieta’s caring about the pic Aaron sent Gino. Nick is overplaying his angle based on a different wrong doing & using that as an avenue to attack Aaron’s ability to talk about his past with Nick at all. Aaron sharing the pic was gross and Nick not telling the whole story but manufacturing this in order to make it look worse & especially to shut Aaron up, needs to be brought to light.

I’m interested to see what Aaron does, but expecting the least (plead out & down) while hoping for the best (demolishing Nicks ploy to game things in his favor.) If Aaron exposes the whole story by laying everything out, not just letting Nick’s convoluting revenge fantasy to shut Aaron up fly by, that would at least turn this jumped up charge back on Nick. If Aaron’s gonna take a hit anyway, he should give thought to telling the entire version of events from all pertinent angles, including the qover history & Gino & Keanu’s parts they played,) before folding.

All Nick cares about here is preserving his image, so lay it out clear in a court of law since Nick brought the fight there. At the end of the interview, Nick claims he doesn’t care about his public image. Total propaganda copium billed as an interview. Nicks running a PR campaign, expect more like this.

I don't think it's a terribly strong case even with both of them, but it's at least possible they could make do with just Keanu, if she's an actual witness. I'm not sure the court could even compel a third party like Geno to come to the state and testify, or even testify remotely if that's allowed.

I think they're playing a game of chicken here and hoping he'll plead out. Even the misdemeanor carries potential jail time.

I think you’re misunderstanding “stories” in my post. I’m talking about the entire context of events in the charges from Aaron’s pov which has not yet been broached in relation to his new felony charges. Nick appears to have told a trumped up version of events to hit Aaron with harder charges. Otherwise I agree they all suck, but that wasn’t the main point I was making, which was to not let a false narrative stand when all the facts together show something else entirely.

Most cases never go to trial. It’s highly likely a plea agreement will be reached. Additionally, Gino and Keanu have been cooperating with authorities.
