Agreed. I mean they could have used that energy towards the Las Vegas shooting which still has no motive.

I don't see how Alex Jones is personally responsible for the actions of every moron who happens to be his viewer. He never told them to harass the victims' families or desecrate graves.
Besides, he has publicly apologized for being wrong about Sandy Hook numerous times at this point.

I saw this via the youtube algorithm and i figured i'd post it here with my thoughts. Its 100% worth a watch


I honestly didn't get any hint that this was unfiction until the end with the "it corrupted the disc" at the ending, which is clearly a more than subtle hint that its unfiction,

the way he did the animation, the limited color depth, the fidelity of the models and environments, the sound compression artifacts, even the transitions between screens are spot on to what you'd expect from a 90's myst like at the time.

and on top of all this it doesn't beat you around the head with a stupid, pretentious story. It doesn't have really annoying jumpscares or loud noises. No "haunted game disc" Its actually subtle and leaves it to your imagination as these things should.

I can only wish more unfiction (or ARG as zoomies incorrectly refer to it as) like this comes out, this along with interloper are the gold standard these types of videos should aspire to.

Using the real newmaker case is honestly really cringey. It some marina abramovic levels of "I am using this real pain for my ART." the kid was killed by her parents in a weird therapy ritual and now some redditor made a fake video game about it.

Also the schoolboy guy is simply a trans woman living her best life. Not sure why bigots are going after her for simply trying to recapture her childhood from the trauma she suffered at the hands of trnsphobes. Their kids should honored to be a part of her journey.

This video REALLY shows what digital horror can be when it isn't just Lacey knockoffs and Minecraft ghost stories. No pissed off ghost or AI hiding in the game, or big coverup, it's just the subtle horror of a lost but somber dinosaur game. I genuinely really did want to play it until it turned out to be fake unfiction.
The closest I got to assuming it was fake before the end was the analogue horror-ass "glitch" he encountered, but even then, I just assumed he just edited that in to look cooler in otherwise real footage.

I don't want the thread to devolve into infowars sperging, so I'll just end it by saying that Alex only apologized after the backlash and he did commit libel by grifting off of the tragedy the way he did.

1.5 billion bad? Maybe not. But that is what he gets for being a retarded grifter.

I think I figured out why the anti-urban spooks bandwagon is so unlikable. It's not just hypocrisy. They are fake. Puppet combo games never stopped being popular and the subject of those games tends to be just as graphic as urban spook's painter series. Not more graphic. When it comes to bloodwash. Mainstream YouTubers, let's play bloodwash. They went after urbanspooks thinking he an easy target. Puppet combo fandom wouldn’t put up with them.

Does "found footage" falls into the category of "analog horror"? If so, is there any where the person behind the camera is packing heat or, at least, semi-competent at not being a total waste of oxygen?

Heaven forbid someone has a fringe opinion on a public event that had some wierd things going on. The parents (with fed help) attacking Jones the way they did was the government testing the water on a new avenue to curtail freedom of speech. Because it involved dead kids it made it hard for people to publicly defend Jones without seeming like the bad guy. The next guy to get the Jones treatment would be over something like spreading election fraud "conspiracies".

As for the grifting over the tragedy, is he any worse than true crime channels? They get thousands of dollars a month specifically to talk about kids getting raped and murdered while Jones just talks about conspiracies and one got a bit too spicy.

Parroting that I too was fooled until the bigfoot ending. It's an especially welcome surprise from Sagan "3 hours of gushing over a couple trannies mediocre games" Hawkes.
