Actually, yes!

Waaaaaaaaaay earlier in the thread, I posted about how he defended Pinkie Pony and how he had to be convinced of "How much of an asshole" he was by her when she started telling him about shit like Cultural Appropriation and other Social Justice propaganda. And he swallowed that in despite her being too young to really know better and her being outright hypocritical and wrong in her actions as well.

In the post, I quoted "Sargon's Law", and it's become ever so clearly true since then. He's every single thing he criticizes others for en masse.

Now, I doubt Pinkie Pony started his decline. Was it the catalyst for all his bullshit internet behavior? Absolutely. Before then, he'd only antagonize people for their opinions and act edgy as fuck.

But the reality is that more than likely, whether he knows it or not, Pinkie Ponies' tirade about Social Justice was giving Jerry an open platform of exploitation to point his nose upwards to other people. He really needed an "in" to start becoming relishing in the psychopathic tendencies he displays today, before then probably sheltering then more closely to himself and a few dumb posts here and there.

Now he's at free liberty to act as douchey as he wants because, according to Social Justice, other people are wrong 100% of the time and arguing with this "fact" just prove you right and them wrong because "It's all about equality and only Trump Supporters would argue against equality."

tl;dr It's very likely the Pinkie Pony event isn't what started his path down lolcowness, but gave him the perfect excuse to be the way he is.

I’m a brony myself, but if I met someone who said they hated the entire fandom, my first thought would be "I know exactly why."

Someone said some inflammatory things, and her detractors didn’t so much disagree with the discussion as they did rage at the idea that there was a discussion to be had at all. Soon enough (usually soon enough to be called immediately) the death and rape threats began.

And that means that her detractors actually lost.

I honestly thought she was completely off base and was looking to have a discussion with her about it. But then the fandom started talking and ruined everything. I have a video on it here

Shifting the blame to her detractors (Who, apparently sent death/rape threats, though I can't find fucking any archives of them) while continuously dodging the shit that April's done.

In case anyone needs a reminder, April Davis complained about a sexualized comic about MLP... WHILE DRAWING SEXUALIZED PICTURES OF MLP CHARACTERS. And Jerry ignored it completely.
