I can't believe all these famous nobodies in the publishing industry keep coming out to feloniously announce they're part of an international criminal conspiracy, that includes at least one federal judge and the Milwaukee Police Department, all to attack a successful author for fighting for democracy and the country he loves. Like, are the even prisons big enough for all these admitted terrorists to enjoy?

When I was younger (early 20s) I loved Brian Keene books, they were brainless horror novels and I could read really fast so I ran through them, I still pick one out every once in a while and enjoy them (but not the worm ones, fuck that shit lol)

And now I have something else to enjoy about him :) he's not a great writer but that doesn't matter, his books sell big time and while he's pretty staunchly left wing he still interacts with authors who are right wing if they're nice to him, and as a result he's built a very nice network of industry contacts

I think it'd be fair to say that he's done quite well for himself in a way that Fatprick wishes he could have done, and he's made quite a good living doing it too

I would have thought someone called so left wing by people in this thread, Brain and other sci-fi authors would all be pro Palestine /anti zionist types.
If Rick was smart (he's not) he would call Brain out for bragging about taking a picture with a genocidal evil zionist like Fettermen. Might get some cred in his circles, rather than have an asteroid belt in a circular orbit around him, because he's fat.

I was thinking the same thing, he has a really weak ability to express himself in writing for an author that's apparently pretty successful. Although he does write in the horror genre which isn't exactly known for it's wordsmiths excepting a very few obvious standouts.

Might not be a catchphrase, but the smug "Do have fun" at the end of his infamous tweet, where he urged Ukrainian civilians to attack Russian tanks with paint balloons always comes to mind if I think of "essential Patcore"
