Motorcycles have a longer braking distance than a car. Pulling an accidental stoppy is possible but it's much more likely that she will accidentally misjudge distance and hit the back of a car or run into an intersection. I wonder how many times she's ridden since she got the thing?

As someone who has never been on a motorcycle but looked into it as its on the bucket list of "skills you should have just in case", most Motorcycle dealerships offer riding classes with your first lesson "free". They double as ways to get new customers in the door while also weeding out the people who should not be on the damn things. The actual riding courses after the "free" introduction are relatively inexpensive. Because again, the goal is not to teach you how to ride. Its to get you to buy a bike. The payments after the free introductory lesson is to create sunk cost fallacy.

Her having a panic attack is not a barrier. She bought the bike. They probably held her hand the whole way and told her what a brave and cool girl she was. Now pay money for product.
