As funny as this is, I wish they would have fallen flat on their face sooner. Where Concord's DEI slop was just stupid looking and kind of funny, Dustborn is offensively bad. I feel like this is stealing that thunder.

Oh well, beggars can't be choosers!
There are ghosts.

Was there any real attempt to market this? I've never heard of it before and absolutely none of my gaming friends have ever mentioned it.

It's crazy that so much money and development time were spent just for a product to be entirely dead on arrival. At least people get a full refund, but I'd guess they're trying to avoid lawsuits?
Yes, it got shown at Game Awards, had a big showing at Sony events, and is even getting a episode in Amazon CGI's game show due this year. It was pretty heavily marketed, but doesn't matter too much when you got a product no one wants and doesn't leave a lasting impression.

They had so much faith in it they paid to have it included in the new Amazon video game slop show thats not even out yet.

So who's betting on this relaunching in the future as a Free to Play shooter?
How about we just kill off the “hero shooter” genre, like seriously didn’t this shit get old near the end of OW1 life cycle? And then OW2 happened which to me personally was definitely the nail in the coffin for the me, I don’t get it it’s not as exciting as CSGO was for me because it was just raw skill no ability buttons

True I guess. All the marketing in the world can't save a product that people have no interest in and aren't talking about.
