Shuhie yoshida, adam boyes and andrew house were a good trio. One was knowledgable and likable, one was daft and fun and Andrew was a suit but a suit that you could trust to greenlight the right stuff.

I know in Cruelty Squad you actually get to invade their universe equivalent of Epstein Island and gun down all the billionaires there which is pretty based aside from the fact that they can regenerate (hence why you can replay missions again, in-universe all of your targets can regenerate) but that's why you go for the true ending and become a God to abolish their existence entirely.

Gaming makes more money than Hollywood and the music business combined.

Make a game like GTA and you’re basically printing money for a decade.

200 million isn’t crazy money to spend on developing a game.

(Of course only few titles go on to be another GTA, so there’s that.)

Someone in another thread, I can't remember where, mentioned that no matter where you turn, if you're producing a big budget AAA title, you're suckling at the teat of either DEI/Larry Fink or Tencent/the CCP. No way around it; publishers can't float hundreds of millions left and right. It won't end until the consumer base can consistently hit these absolute faggots in the wallet. I've been blackpilled on gaming but Concord's failure has been such a wallop to the wallet that I'm feeling a bit better.

The reality is that there is always a market for a good game and Hero shooters are not as over supplied in the moment Concord launched.
The problem for Concord was not that it's a Gay Niggers from Outerspace TM Hero shooter.
It's that it is a shit Hero shooter. You can say the gunplay was fine and that the game ran fine. But if your Heroes are buttfucking ugly then nobody will want to play as them. Especially when they all play like generic trite.

On the flipped side though, the Marvel Rivals closed beta did extremely well and people who played it seemed to really enjoy it and its approach to the genre.
Whether or not you like marvel seems to be irrelevant for it. It also realized with a not shit art style(and a mostly white cast), which helps.

So it is possible for even a ultra woke company like Disney to release a seemingly successful hero shooter in 2024, the key really is just to not be an ugly game

It really is incredible how on mainstream media you jewgle concord and it’s just totally the actual party lines. Only vague mentions of the space for these kinds of video games being competitive. Not a single word about how absolutely atrociously ugly the characters are and how woke nigger kikery destroys all it touches, not even vague allusions to it.

I expect it from the verge (too recommended by jewgle) but eurogamer does the same thing.

Journoscum and especially gaming Journoscum I really naively thought would take a bit of the decade plus and billions lost by disney as a small sign that mythical “modern audiences” don’t exist and without forced globohomo DEI money it’s lighting money on fire.

Netflix “stock go up” because they have a back catalog that nigger sheboon girlboss can’t totally blunt. But of course viewership for individual titles is super sekrit or else everyone would see how literally millions are horribly rayciss

This thing looked uninspiring from the very start.

A hero shooter with quippy Marvel movie dialogue between a bunch of "diverse" characters.

Who the fuck could possibly give a shit about it? You know the gameplay will be mediocre at best because the devs are clearly obsessed with the image of the game over everything else. It was very telling that 90% of the preview footage was cutscenes. The actual game didn't matter.
