Hector's a troon. We don't know when he started, but it was confirmed by the time he created his vtuber character that trooning was his future. He's definitely altered his pronouns, so at best he's 'merely' nonbinary.

When you get down to the nuts and bolts (lol) of it, troonism is really just a porn preference. It's less how you feel about yourself, and more what you watch while you feel yourself.
My takeaway from the latest drama was that he's living as Lina Asahi full time now. Hector's not dressing up as her when he leaves the apartment but still the only real human contact the man has is with people online. I'd be surprised if he talks to a dozen people face to face over the course of a month. I don't mean actual conversations either, just transactional interactions like "Will that be paper or plastic, sir?"
Hector at the very least pretends to be a woman on the Internet, and gets extremely flustered if you point this out.
I want to know what him and Hector see when they look at each other. Do they see another fat man look back or are they so coom brained that they actually hallucinate each others anime avatar? How do they reconcile the blubbery male visage focused on their retinas with they forced insistence that their lover is a uWu anime lesbian waifu?
Well considering cyan nyan is a Taiwanese ladyboy they have the androgynous frame might pass but Hector is probably fat af. I can only assume the pathological make believe takes up a small portion between them as nyan probably would pass. These people probably have no shame.
Do we know that he's Taiwanese? He seems to tweet in Simplified Chinese, which would imply not.
With all his posts in the past about “plural” behavior, Hector probably just sees Ashai Lina as an another personality like a Schzio rather than a transgender identity.

"Lina"'s long Mastodon post suspiciously has the same style and tone as Hector Martin's other long technical posts. It wouldn't look out of place on Marcan's account. I thought he forgot to switch accounts but he must have intentionally posted it as Lina.

Why is Hector so backwards? Linux, written in C, has been an incredibly stable piece of software, which has been proven to be secure by many people and agencies. He should follow what they say not the other way around.

I’m all for a new kernel written in Rust. It will take the Rust stasi agents away from Linux and the kernel can go back to normal.
I really, really support the idea of Drew and Hector and Lennart Poettering gathering as many of their friends as possible and banding together to abandon Linux forever and create an entirely new kernel on their own, with Blackjack and queer trans hookers of color. I think they'd do a great job and everyone would appreciate it.
