When a baby is born intersexed the doctor just assigns a sex at birth to put on the birth certificate. AGAB means just that Assigned Gender/Sex A Birth, I remember back in the late 90s maybe I saw a documentary on people born intersexed. Some stay the gender they were raised as and some change it after puberty might change things.

A fair chunk of female otaku friends I had in years past pooned out. They were same chicks I used to send Tweek x Craig, NaruSasu, SebaGrell, and Pegasus Yuugi boi~ memes to via Facebook and Skype like 9-10 years ago. With hindsight: they were probably female autists who were really invested in fandom shit, and I was just a male autist with broadly similar interests in slightly different kinds of shows and mangas. They were the types of chicks who were really into slash shit they read on FanFiction.net and FictionPress. I never gave a shit about any of that, but I was always down for "ironic" yaoi memes to throw in other weeb group chats I was a part of at the time.

One by one, the dorkiest and most vulnerable among these chicks whose company I cherished, pooned out. Here's my beef: I'm biased as hell because I too was a maladapted weeaboo faggot who developed crushes way too easily on his female friends once upon a time. I still chose to stick around after getting curved because these were the same chicks who got me into stuff like KareKano, Fruits Basket, and X/1999. We still shared music recommendations, live manga/anime reactions over text chat, vents about personal problems, you get the idea.

With time, I noticed that the ones who began pooning out all had one thing in common: they cycled through partners super fucking quickly once "he/they" entered their social media bios. It didn't take much guess work to figure out what happened, without fail: some random jerk-off who's a performative ally or a scummy incel/latent tranny finds vulnerable female autist pooning out, is like "hey d00d, you're really hot like those bishonens you draw obsessively" and then suddenly she latches onto those scumbags. It's really fucking easy to pick up on one of their newest flings because they stop talking about weebshit/fandom shit altogether as their latest pooner porker is getting his fix. Then the scumbag misgenders her, she spergs out, acts all emo and vaguely disturbing for a while, they go back to their yaoi/BL shit, wait for shit to settle back down, rinse repeat.

After a while, I just didn't have the stomach for it anymore. It was mentally exhausting to keep up with the moving goalposts with "affirming" shit. I used they/them almost exclusively for these pooners at various points in my life, but eventually there'd come a point where they'd want more people to use "he/him." Once the transformation with HRT began, there was almost no coming back. Oh, and don't get me started on the insane weight gain once the HRT begins.
