I was connecting to my hotel's WiFi and decided to read the TOS and it says I can get kicked out for using their internet to disseminate racist remarks. Is this actually true?

Depends on what they log.

Do they access for identifying shit for you to connect like a room number and a last name? They can use that to tie you to a specific device. If you use a VPN there isn't much in terms of what they can see you doing online.
