Look up any solar farms, wind farms and off-shore storage projects and you'll see many Chinese companies betting for the contract, often winning as well. Like it or not while China's innovation got stifled from a world war and a civil war, they're really good at making stuff cheap, streamlining everything and implementing it on a greater scale. Of course some go one way or the other to the extreme and put out cheap garbage, which is why we hope the competitive process rules these fuckers out. Most of these major companies are either directly operated by the CPC, or heavily affliated, by nature.
