The controller looks painfully generic. If I didn't know it was based on Concord, it could literally be a generic "space" controller or for any number of games. Design is ultimately fine but emblematic of the issue Concord had, which is a lack of identity that went anywhere near above average.

PS5 controllers are also a scam btw. a 10 dollar fucking chinesium controller is more durable than those things, like the stick drift is so fucking insane it could happen literally out of the box, then support bitches at your for a code that might get erased because these faggots thought putting it AS INK IN A POSIITON WHERE YOUR HAND TOUCHES IT CONSTANTLY is a good idea, and then their "solution" is to sell a 300 dollar controller with 20 dollar replacement sticks.

Morbius had an explosion of memes so someone pitched the idea to Sony executives that they can catch the "so bad that it is good" crowd and ironic watchers with a 2nd theater run.

Somebody earlier posted this, but imagine if they spent even a fraction of that Concord money on Bloodbourne Remastered for the PS5 - guaranteed success. I would've seriously considered getting a console (used) if they did that, then I'd also have a good excuse to start buying all the Japanese Gundam slop I like for the system.

This is one of those games that just has a code in the case and no disc, right? It would be a shame if some enterprising individual with access to a high quality printer, a truckload of blu ray cases, and some shrink wrap were to take these losers for even more of a ride.

To be fair to Deathloop, that game didn't suck because of niggers and marvel writing. The voice acting, (specifically that of the main character) was generally good enough to sell the mediocre dialogue. Deathloop sucked because the gameplay loop () was repetitive, one-note, and got old quickly. It felt more like a launch title or a tech demo than a proper game.

While that may be true (I can't say for certain as I didn't play the game), I'm just a gaming racist now, and when I see the strong perfect black female protagonist in the marketing or on the cover it's immediately blacklisted for me. You can only do the same thing so many times until I think it's a fair assumption that it's shit.

While it was nice to have actual game demos back in the day to determine if the game was probably good or not, they are no longer necessary - just look for the blatant ESG propaganda, and you know it sucks because it was probably made by "talentless freaks." (outsourced, inexperienced, etc.)

It's one thing to be complacent and supportive of this ESG crap. I would question your taste, and think you should be sent to a camp in Minecraft, but at least it's honest. However, it's a whole different thing to say that it doesn't exist, or act like it's not even there.

The question is whether anyone (without a vested ideological interest) learns anything, or uses this as a stepping off point for the insanity, market/business big thunking, "service" games and trend chasing. It's not often that we get something unquestionably great and just happen in the modern western gaming industry now.. (and quickly industry in general.. with crapcom, square and others going full west media asskissing)

For those wondering, the game is likely dead. The IP is tainted.. Plus even assuming no major changes and anything more than an almost instant turnaround, it would cost nearly the dev cost again to relaunch later. It's just the way the bloated mess of modern business world works. I mean for one thing, most games, even triple digit million games, spend AT LEAST their full dev budget in marketing... let that sink in, or if you ever feel the need to move to defend practices like cut/cheap content and broken game releases etc.
