I guess it depends what, if anything, the amhole is anchored to internally.
Presumably in the Troons where the entire amhole has prolapsed it isn't physically attached and anchored to anything, in that case removing the whole 'ditch and then stitching together the outside edges of the wound would presumably heal normally, how scar tissue would affect mobility would be the issue.
I've heard about Troons where it has scarred and fused to their rectum/colon, in that case trying trying to remove the amhole could do damage to the rectum/colon or whatever other natural structures it's attached itself it.
Scar tissue isn't as flexible so I could see that a huge scarified area in someone's groin would affect how they walk.
Again, I'm not a doctor, just trying to think logically what could be afftected/complications.
Its likely a lot more complicated and no doubt I'm missing a lot.

I've done this myself when I've realized I'm just helping derail a thread but not to try to get the last word, just to say I'm not debating (derailing) any longer. I do get what you mean though.pet peeve of mine is when someone states their contentious personal opinion then ends with "anyway, let's get back on topic guys!" as a means of getting in the last word.
