I think I agree with Glitch Poacher's suggestion for how to redeem themselves at least financially. They need to separate their images from one another. I'm not sure if Ian can ever fully redeem himself. However, doing this would at least get him somewhere.
Their current “fanbase” likes them, even if there’s very few of them. There’s also a large contingent of people who think that people only hate Ian now because he “got married and learned empathy” when they haven’t watched any of his content with the exception of the apology tour video. If they break up, the latter group probably won’t even know or care (and if they find out they’ll probably just say that Ian is a heckin’ evil Nazi) while the former group will probably just leave and maybe do some minor a-logging.
