I can see this for the debate:
-Kamabla lingers and Obummer pauses way too much, using up time and then talks after her mic is cut.
-Trump talks and you hear "I'm speaking" being picked up on Trump's end, to which he hopefully replies "yeah, to the bottom of a bottle" and carries on for his point. That would be such a KO you'll hear the camera people audibly saying "Jesus Christ!"

I think if she brings up he's a rapist or something gay like that, it's an indicator of how far down she is in the polls. Just saying he's a russian asset, that's just down 1-2 points. If she goes full on "this man is a rapist how could you think to vote for him?" she's down 4-5 points. If she cries or does crocodile tears, she's down 7 points.

But if Twitter takes the hit doesn't it set a precedent that california can't do it again to some smaller or more cucked company who would just bend over and take the reaming even if nonconstitutional if it were appealed? So twitter contesting it means it might not be able to apply to anyone, and if any other states do it, it could be overturned.
Unless I'm stupid and that's not how it works.
Yes, but they'll probably just pass a new law next legislative session that does the same thing, but is worded differently.

Why do all tech companies decide to incorporate in one of the most retarded states in the union? I'm glad X was found likely to succeed on a 1A appeal, but ideally they should have operated in a state that never would have passed a law like this.
Thats where all the pacific internet cables come out from. It makes sense to base their operations there.

California, for years, had some of the best restrictions against onerous non-compete clauses that let the tech scene there balloon off of people leaving established tech companies to found competing startups after the suits wouldn't greenlight their idea.
Their continued success there is now mostly due to inertia, because California is practically doing its damnedest to get their pound of flesh from the successful firms or drive them out of the state.

I bet that ruling against non-competes in general will kill whatever's left of that

Don't underestimate what inertia and tradition can do to keep business people making poor decisions.
There hasn't really been a good reason to base financial firms on Manhattan in like 30 years now but by golly they keep doing it.

They mostly incorporate in Delaware. They're in California because Stanford has (had?) the best CS program in the country. I believe the UC system had some very good CS programs as well.

It's like how, despite libtard governments doing everything they can to rape American industry to death, the location of MIT means there are a lot of companies in the Boston area that you'd think would be anywhere else.

This might sound silly, but how did you guys and girls learn about politics, and when did you become conservative?
"I'm not a Conservative, I like to win."

With that in mind: it's a mix between watching the left turned into a bunch of retarded hypocrites that constantly need to push for more and more because they want power:

219. Leftism is a totalitarian force. Wherever leftism is in a position of power it tends to invade every private corner and force every thought into a leftist mold. In part this is because of the quasi-religious character of leftism; everything contrary to leftist beliefs represents Sin. More importantly, leftism is a totalitarian force because of the leftists’ drive for power. The leftist seeks to satisfy his need for power through identification with a social movement and he tries to go through the power process by helping to pursue and attain the goals of the movement (see paragraph 83). But no matter how far the movement has gone in attaining its goals the leftist is never satisfied, because his activism is a surrogate activity (see paragraph 41). That is, the leftist’s real motive is not to attain the ostensible goals of leftism; in reality he is motivated by the sense of power he gets from struggling for and then reaching a social goal. [35] Consequently the leftist is never satisfied with the goals he has already attained; his need for the power process leads him always to pursue some new goal. The leftist wants equal opportunities for minorities. When that is attained he insists on statistical equality of achievement by minorities. And as long as anyone harbors in some corner of his mind a negative attitude toward some minority, the leftist has to re-educated him. And ethnic minorities are not enough; no one can be allowed to have a negative attitude toward homosexuals, disabled people, fat people, old people, ugly people, and on and on and on. It’s not enough that the public should be informed about the hazards of smoking; a warning has to be stamped on every package of cigarettes. Then cigarette advertising has to be restricted if not banned. The activists will never be satisfied until tobacco is outlawed, and after that it will be alcohol, then junk food, etc. Activists have fought gross child abuse, which is reasonable. But now they want to stop all spanking. When they have done that they will want to ban something else they consider unwholesome, then another thing and then another. They will never be satisfied until they have complete control over all child rearing practices. And then they will move on to another cause.

... and "the content of their character" from watching Canada turn into a third-world heckhole.

That's cool, fanatic. Let me know when Elon makes a meaningful contribution to that effort. You know, besides just telling his staff to go handle it and later soaking up the praise.

Yeah, true. Though this description is a lot humbler than the genius inventor Elon puffs himself up to be.
I mean, it's well-established that Elon significantly contributed to the design and engineering of his spacerockets, but you keep that jihad stronk, alrafiq

After watching Trump address the Economic Club of New York I am beginning to feel that he is REALLY trying to slip into the peacemaker role. The way he is talking about peace, tariffs and sanctions and being on friendly terms with the rest of the world definitely makes me think he has simply grown and developed A LOT as a politician (and I somehow do not mean this in a bad way). The man just seemed like a great statesman up there this afternoon.

Trump wants peace because as a negotiator, he understands that in diplomatic negotiation the threat of war is your ultimate chip. If you go to war, you can't use the threat of it any more. So when there's people you can't negotiate with, like ISIS, wreck the shit out of them with no letup. Then everyone else understands don't fuck around when the war chip is laid down

Similarly he put big ass tariffs on China, so when he threatened Mexico with big ass tariffs if they didn't start behaving better re: the border, Mexico understood coming to terms was way better than continuing to fuck around

I'm pretty sure she already brings up Trump is a rapist in her campaign speeches already. Expect to hear he's a felon. Just take everything she says in her prepared speeches and spread it out over a debate. But with her stumbling over words.

Man if only Boeing or NASA would just hire some rocket scientists to science up some rockets those astronauts would be stuck right now.
The government screwing up NASA is not an accomplishment by a competitor. It's just government mismanagement.

Yeah, I'm sure Elon drew in crayon the tail fins and flame plume.

My understanding is that local politics in California was gatekept even prior to Reagan granting amnesty. School boards and what not have been controlled since the 60’s. The State Senate and the Assembly have been on Dem majority by almost double the Republicans since the late 80’s.

It’s a lot of wealthy white women who sold houses worth $40,000 when they inherited them or bought them in the 60’s and sold them in the 90’s and 2000’s who control city councils. Reminds me a lot of the English.

Expect a mass shooting to occur before November.

tl;dr: A judge actually applied strict scrutiny to the Second Amendment (which is pretty clear, want a gun, yes you can have it, even if it's big black and scary) and the feds didn't even bother trying to make their case, assuming it was just common judicial knowledge they can ban some types of guns. Can you imagine if this gets to SCOTUS and the liberals + female conservatives on the court can't get one of the male conservatives to flip?
Probably late and gay and missed it but this guy 100% called it. 🤔

Kamala looking to do her own Piper Perri moment. Or rather, she already did it in CA, but now it's for the cameras:

Tim Walz just walking away, so weird! He also has a gray haired woman for a SS agent, that's confidence! :story:

And the GA school shooter had his face revealed, a tranny, of course.
