Wasn’t there sabotage by the Dragons because showing weakness or kindness or mercy to non-Dragons is vile in their view? Mjosgard got executed for helping the merpeople. Pretty sure Doffy’s Dad got put somewhere he’d be in a position to be killed.

I think the Elder’s might just be filled with Imu’s Haki. It’s why Moon man is so buff now. It’s why all that black shit left Saturn. I think he does have a fruit, but it might be like Blackbeard where Imu’s fruit can steal it.

Considering that the Seraphim are clones, there might not be a need. Just the rest of the Elders introducing Garling as their new member and informing them that Saturn is dead should be enough.

As for Devon, I presume that Saturn dying will be a bit of a secret. That might throw a wrench on Blackbeard 's plan when the Seraphim do not recognise Saturn as an authority anymore. I wonder as to how he will react to that.

True, he might be faking it but considering she freed them despite the fact that she should not, he might be truly grateful. He has standards and I presume seeing the lack of care the WG has for those he cares about, he might retain his loyalty to them though he will trust them only as far as he can throw them.

I don’t think the dragons are the type to really sit back and watch people suffer. They favor making examples. My guess is that they let him go and made sure that he suffered.

I doubt they're the OG, my guess is Imu just "collects" the most competent dragons he finds throughout the centuries. Which makes Saturn's incompetence even funnier.

Dragon, despite the memes, is doing shit behind the scenes. The Marines are willingly participating in the Celestial Dragons hierarchy and doing their bidding even if they bitch and moan about it (Garp and SWORD).
Literally every villain in the series except the Wigger is doing what they are doing because the World Government and the Marines enforcing their tyranny.

Crocodile’s entire plan was using Alabastia as a staging ground for a revolution. His current plan is using Cross Guild to challenge the Marines and their ability to enforce the will of the Celestial Dragons.
Crocodile’s background is likely a more extreme version of Dragon (or maybe the crazy theory is real and he’s Luffy’s mother in disguise).

Arlong fucking hated humans for the suffering of Fisher Tiger (Kizaru was the trigger man). Arlong Park is literally his recreation of Shabaody Park.

Doffy is pissed he can never be a Dragon again and had his family get ratfucked by the other Dragons because they didn’t want to eat Orphan Sashimi.

Personally, I’d say that the new plan is just so the same thing covertly that Luffy is (in a grand scheme) doing in the open: be an agent of chaos that buttfucks the balance the WG has maintained for centuries, until the time comes to attack the Celestial Dragons and their system head on.

Bold of you to think it’s a devil fruit. If anything, I’d say that his death was Imu’s doing confirms that the treasure of Mary Geoise is the thing that fuels Imu’s powers, which leads to the Gorosei having their powers. And The One Piece is something that counters Imu’s powers or boosts the powers of the person who finds the One Piece. Maybe it’s like “Blackbeard’s devil fruit but…good”. Or it’s like “Gorosei transformations but…good and benevolent”

Also, that Joy Boy’s promise to the fish men was to use Noah to let them have a home as the world starts to sink and their home becomes uninhabitable in the world to come (that was broken because he got his ass kicked in the war and had to focus on his “funny story to get his treasure away from his enemies and leave it waiting for somebody…Luffy, who’ll fulfill the promise for him.

I’m starting to figure out things too early for Oda’s liking, aren’t I?

I’d have to take a gander and say that Imu only did this because of the spectacular failure and grave mistake that was the events of Egghead. I can only assume that the only thing Imu was worried about is Joy Boy running around and being known knowledge, with Joy Boy being the only threat to Imu’s reign.

Didn’t Saturn mention something about not knowing about some power coming into play? I can only assume he was talking about the robot’s rope trick.

He meant the robot Haki trick as Imu specifically mentions Joy Boy. He would not have had to contend with that if he’d done his job and scrapped the bot 200 years ago. It’s why the ‘how could i have known’ line is so funny. If he’d done his job he wouldn’t have had to know.
 
my guess is that the elders are like imus version of satellites. but instead of making them out of machines he places part of himself or maybe some of his haki? into people he deems worthy.

this somehow results in imu being allowed to use multiple devil fruits and in return the chosen elders become almost immortal and are powered up in general.

if all the elders die it deals damage to imu and weakens him greatly which is why saturn was killed by imu and replaced instantly. saturn was shown to be far too weak and made way too many mistakes.

which could imply that imu does not control the elders they just choose to obey him.

I mean it’s more you can’t trust the devil. I wonder if Imu doesn’t have the Ocean fruit and instead has the Devil-Devil Fruit hence the pentagrams and making Faustian pacts with the elders.
