I'm wondering how to incorporate this all into my weird little worldview I've fashioned for myself. I pay a couple hours or so of attention to these weirdos weekly, with extremely varying levels of appreciation (I won't say which one of them I've actually come to like a lot this past year or so, but it is one of them);
I did start getting rapidly weirded out by Lauren Chen ~2 years ago, and I never really knew why -- but hadn't seen the specifics where she decided to clearly start doing sponsored propaganda. I guess that explains that.
I've just only ever thought Nick Fuentes is such an obvious fed meant to make the right look bad; now some of his biggest supporters (Tenet was doing that, right?) have been thrown under the bus? or have they?
I guess what I'm saying: what are the odds that they're only pretending to have uncovered a Russian plot, but that the real game here has been Lauren Chen working with the feds to connect right-wingers to Russia? (isn't it a mighty fine coincidence THIS, NOW is the first "real" "Russian plot" since Cambridge Analytica sold $80000 of FB ads to Russians in 2016?) will Chen's charges suddenly disappear? Tenet gets to close down since its purpose is complete; a sweetheart deal and a quiet payoff?
Or will we expect them to go as hard as possible on these people?
Doesn't it kinda look like this had been planned for a couple years now, only to come out when it's most convenient?
(if anyone else has already laid out the same scenario as I have here: I'm not looking through the previous 30 pages, sorry.)
But what do we think the grand narrative is here? or are we assuming there is none, and that Lauren, who seemed to be doing quite well, was simply offered a deal too good to turn down, and no one else caught wind of it in time?
