Because East Asians tend to integrate/assimilate better, work hard and do well in school (they actually pay attention in class and do the school work), are polite, respectable, law abiding, and then tend not to be an absolute drain on society by breeding generation after generation of welfare leeches.
Also, concerning media specifically, asians already have a bunch of good and successful media made by themselves featuring themselves.
That independence really pisses of the west, because they cant force their woke shit like little mermaid remake, shit games, etc onto them, they just consume their own media instead and let bad woke products flop, picking and choosing what parts of western culture they like.
And simultaneously, asia still exports a bunch of high-quality media with pale, skinny attractive characters who engage in hetrosexual relationships to the rest of the world. I bet woke higher ups in media are super pissed at how many young males and females watch anime and kdramas rather than the acolyte or whatever.
Also, the ones posing danger towards asians in tbe west often arent white, and therefore asians have to be white because whites cannot be opressed.
You'll never see some poor asian shop owner getting beat up by some thugs represented in media, most youll get is some white character going squinty eye ching chong or complaining that their food stinks, even though asian beauty and food is becoming increasingly mainstream.
