Redfall's last update included an offline mode where you can still access the title when the servers inevitable shut down. Concord is online-only; once those servers go, the game is no more. Redfall did issue refunds if you bought its now cancelled DLC. Issuing refunds for a product you're not receiving is not a charitable action these companies do, it's to prevent litigation which can cost MORE money and goodwill.

This is a problem with games taking so long to develop these days - how many games releasing now started development in the early-to-mid years of the PS4? With the PS5 being Backwards Compatible - not to mention having a smaller customer base - I can kinda see why they’re still releasing titles for Last Gen.

Frankly I’m just surprised the Last Gen versions aren’t gimped to hell, but then I remember that the technical leap from the PS4 to the PS5 wasn’t as impressive as the leap from the PS3 to the PS4.

I consider AstroBot or whatever the name of this slop to be the worst game of all time, I'll hold this position until I die.

You can pick any stupid mascot from the 90s, including retarded shit like Bubsy, and it'll be better than this Ipod character. AstroShit is the most corporatist-looking motherfucker because he's a product, he's PlayStation. Imagine playing Super Mario Bros as a Super Famicom Controller, that's exactly what Sony pulled out. I still can't believe this is somewhat acceptable today, Pepsiman was reviled 30 years ago and he was somewhat less offensive than Shitbot.

I hate this fucker, he's an Apple Product. It's the most consoomer centric character I've ever seen in my life. I hope this game sells less than Concord.

I'll say more. Every single character in Concord looks better than this fucking grotesque bot.

So, PS5 got it's first real video game after years and years of waiting, and it's just a typical PS2-3 era Japanese studio game you would see around that time?

Didn't Spyro get a re-release only a few years ago? Same with Crash Bandicoot. There really is no excuse, the journos quite literally just type what they're paid for, remember that IGN article on how "Resident Evil 4 aged poorly and that's why you need to play the remake" written by some soyboy who likely never played the OG RE4 aside from maybe the first 30 minutes right before writing the article?
