Other than its original incarnation when it was more of a racist Chamber of Commerce, the KKK has always been at its weakest and cringiest when it is allowed to have a voice. They damn themselves. Sure, they can recruit the type of people that would be attracted to that, but it isn't at its illuminati levels of power as when it has underground mystique.
