Complete and utter betrayal.
Betrayal of
what?
Yeah, I'm not apologizing for expressing compassion here. My initial intuitions have been vindicated.
You don't have compassion. What you have is identification. Fucked-up kid (now adult, who should have grown up a long time ago) thinks he recognizes same.
This kid may possibly actually mature and recognize (if he doesn't already) that what he did was horrific and reprehensible and will take accountability for the violation and irreparable damage he has wrought. And you'll still be sitting over there screaming white power/dindu.
And, you brave teller-of-truth, I DARE you to provide an exposition on your views at your next job interview (or meeting with your boss if you've managed to get a job).
You claim to be the lone brave soul [so very, very brave to be baselessly arrogant...aka delusion] who speaks truth to power, so
do it.
You claim that some portion of your ancestors are inherently inferior to the other part of your history. So join your tribe (go visit as a guest if you don't qualify for membership) and tell them about it.
You claim that all non-whites are worthy of mass, epic murder, so go to Detroit, Mogadishu, Delhi, and Pyongyang and tell them your truth and your principles.
And also say these things under your real name online: if you're righteous and a modern-day Christ, go forth and be as brave as Jesus was.
Sitting around wrapping around your arms around your security stuffed animal (that is, the notion "but but but I'm, I'm superior") is
not the stuff of top 0.01% heroes.
There was another deity I had in mind, (I forget which one) and it was taken.
Anyways, no one seems to have actually engaged with the substance of my argument(ignoring the racial point). Just thrown insults at me.
What is there to engage with? What argument? Sure, maybe this kid was "failed" by his parents or community (idk, but I do know that being bullied and pinched, as bad as those things are, are not
carte blanche to kill people), but so are millions of people, every year*. And yet not all of them murder children (or caring adults).
* btw, what was the race bullying him? What is the plurality race in the school? Just curious.
So sure, I feel compassion for the kid as far as feeling bad that any kid/he was bullied and unhappy [
note, though: no idea what, if any contribution he might have made to the dynamic with others. Maybe zero. Do you?]. I'm sorry if his has been a wretched life and if there was no adult or friend [did he have friends?] in his life that helped salve the stings from being unpopular or difficult.
I don't know enough to know if he is currently frightened or if he's currently apathetic or defiant, so hard to assess what kind of person he is choosing to be at this time.
It's sad whenever any child takes actions that ruin their lives and future forever. It's deserving of severe punishment when they arrogate to themselves the right to do that to others'. And at a point - let's call it the point of "murder" for purposes of this comment - compassion is neither here nor there. What's your point?
Your whole "compassion" thing is just bullshit - at best an irrelevance, and more likely just you nursing your own refusal to take accountability for your own bad acts and weakness, and grasping for justification for that.
