I'll try and get into this after work in more depth (unlike Piggy I have a reel jahb) but I think anyone who doesn't understand at this point why DSP can be so entertaining/interesting to some, need to consider how perfectly bad a lie Phil has chosen to run with here. Seriously, there are so many levels to why this was like, mathematically, scientifically the WORST possible lie he could spin about his Champions account, but going so into detail will take a minute

So had Phil just continued with the "it's not and never was me" lie, we all obviously wouldn't believe him, the dents would believe him, nothing would really change. Him saying he had a different account than DFTR, one that was ALSO different from the one he streams with, pushes credulity a bit, but whatever. It's a giant dumb lie, but one he's well-versed in, and has already been applied to dents through thorough pignosis over years. It's much easier to keep someone bought in on an old lie than to spin a new one for them.

Had Phil completely come clean? It would suck at first for him in the sense of us tractors "getting a W" and maybe losing some dents over "betrayal", but he could have played the whole "safety of muh family" card to explain the lies (sure it doesn't make sense but people stupid enough to be unironic Phil fans are stupid enough to buy that excuse) and then he could REALLY tout a REDEMPTION ARC. "See you gais? I'm coming cleen about everything, we're reelly in a pahsitive era, I'm getting that groove back" etc. He could use this reveal to force himself to get addiction help, hell maybe even use it as a beg tool ("I need that money for this Seattle addiction center dood" or "I need to pay for therapy"). OR, he could turn full heel, own the lies, own the addiction, and start streaming on the DFTR account. Better to whale on one account than two.

But this... this half-measure shit is just the absolute worst of both worlds for him.

He can't stream as DFTR because he "doesn't have the account" so he either continues whaling on both, or drops the Champions streams and has to go back to playing games he doesn't actually enjoy.

He still admits he was lying for years to thousands of people, but does so while also trying to spin a newer, far more convoluted, nonsensical lie that DEMANDS scrutiny (which it immediately crumbles under). The logic behind it must tax the brain of even the most discerning Phil dents, especially compared to the simple "DFTR is a detractor conspiracy" proPIGanda he ran for years on them. Now he has to train them on this new story, which conveniently also doesn't make him look THAT bad, while asking they trust that he ISN'T lying about why he previously LIED TO THEM FOR YEARS. Big, big ask, especially for someone so lacking in charm and charisma.

Not to mention that it isn't even a lie that works. Like of course we wouldn't buy it if there WERE some kind of fabricated bit of evidence, but he couldn't even be fucked to buy a years-old account to parade around as "the REEL account". By the way, we're also supposed to believe now that he has played WWEC across THREE DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS now.

It ALSO, ON TOP OF ALL THAT, officially canonizes the original SideScrollers interview as a massive gaslighting campaign. Not to mention the recent KC interview where he similarly denied ever being DFTR! But at least, AT LEAST, had he ACTUALLY COME CLEAN, he would get some kind of genuine kudos from PPP, Warski, maybe even Craig, etc. Instead, he admits he's been a fat faggot liar for years, while ALSO transparently lying to these people, while they TRANSPARENTLY DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. He gets all the negative outcomes of him "revealing the truth", but in true DSP fashion, manages to miss out on ANY of the positive ramifications.

@PigSeed I don't really have a good place to reply to, but you leave out another hilarious thing...

He lied to Joon too because obviously he was asked about it, and the damn documentary being made could have been a chance to just come clean. Yeah it wrapped up material-wise in April, but you should have been smart enough to figure out if somebody doing a produced and researched documentary about me is asking, there's a good chance they might already know the answer.

It's the same thing with everything Phil lies about. He doesn't think he'll get caught, and as we saw all week, the few times he's caught in 4K lying he laughs like a retard. And in true sociopath form, he doesn't really feel remorse about his actions. He might feel remorse about the money they cause, but not what he's done. It's why he's never actually admitted to any faults without a qualifier, or even had human moments.

Looking forward to taking a break from his crap for a week since it's all gaming but I'm curious how he expects to spin lying to Joon too.

All DSP had to do this week to get his redemption arc is just...like...be humble and tell the truth that most people were aware of anyone and apologize to people and even if he needed it to not be a complete L he could blame how addictive everything was and the shame of it all made him lie about it for so long. It's what a sincere person does.

What he chose to do instead is continue lying about narratives that made him look bad back in the day, lie about things he thought he could get away with for the present, pick retard moral fag slap fights with people that had he any bit of power or influence would have fucked over with his words and actions by trying to get them to apologize to whatever slight DSP felt that they had done to him, rubbed everyone's face in his excess, and every admission of guilt came with a reason it was actually other peoples' fault or packaged with a new lie. DSP just uploaded this. He admits he lied about ever having any intention of showing the WWEC account during the original interview within the first 15 seconds.

So Phil thinks he won an argument that was based on someone not reading emails fast enough to give him a chance to MAYBE send them information that he was lying about at the time anyway? Information he admitted the previous day was all a lie, that was what he mad about not having the chance to send? And then when he told those people off, they came back at him and took money from his detractors, and Phil's rule 1 is no one can make money but Phil.

What I loved about this week in general is the true, delusional Phil running up against people in the real world (Joon, Craig) who push back on his shit. Joon called him a liar 100 times, Craig called him out and told him to fuck off to the point Phil had to run away. He's just shown how far from reality he's currently residing.

Thanks to Kino Casino for getting Phil to leave his safe space and show the insanity to everyone. It won't end well but at least it's going to end.

So now the WWEC story that Phil is pushing now is that actually he has had three accounts, those being the one he plays on stream, his secret personal one, AND DftR. He originally played DftR, sold it to another similarly retarded Scopely addict after getting spotted, made his new personal account, and now has only recently made his stream account, which he has already dumped a few hundred bucks + the VIP subscription on.

I don't think I need to tell anyone how retarded this is. This guy is a bit of a doofus and a loser.

A bit unrelated, but has Mike Watson ever told anyone what exactly Phil said to him over mIRC that got him mad enough to want to beat the fuck out of him in real life? I've seen a few of his SRK posts but never anything that seemed like it crossed a line.

So in this new universe we're all supposed to believe in, on March 16th 2023, Phil sat there on the interview, with Craig trying to turn him into the new Matt Mundane, in possession of a WWE Champions account not named "DownFromTheRafters", that he could have, without having to explain a thing, screenshot and shown to Craig, leaving it to Craig to explain the impossible magic trick, felting the entire world with the greatest of ease, thank you and you're welcome. Why was he worried about getting into DFTR on his old iPad? Why was he worried about explaining the account sale? It's like he had a clear checkmate against the detractors, but suddenly forgot how the horsey moves.
