Her Reiki posting irritates me so much. Like, Reiki is bullshit beyond "touch nice, releases feel-good hormones" but she's totally off the rails of traditional Reiki in terms of her claims about evidence it heals fascia. I mean, sure, Reiki truthers are gonna try to tell you that it heals EVERYTHING in your body by increasing pranic energy or some such bs, but it's absolutely insane to me the leap she's making with the whole "it's proven!" Shit.

I mentioned the terrible film "What the Bleep Do We Know" and how Robyn would love it. One of the claims in the film is basically that because atoms are mostly "empty space" we could walk through walls if we could convince our atoms to line up just right. This is how all her talk about Reiki is; it's underpants gnome logic "Step One Reiki: applying light touch (or not!) Step Two: Light touch makes people feel nice [because we are mammals] Step Three:???? Step Four: Healed fascia!"

Wait why is hyaluronic acid bad to use in the desert?
Simplified version, hyaluronic acid cream/serum/whatever takes in ambient humidity to moisturize your skin. If the air is too dry, it'll pull the moisture out of your skin and dry it out.

Our resident skin care fags could sperg on it more than I could though

Despite her recent declining health and broken leg she is still alive, somehow :(

Really bothers me that she’s giving a newborn a bullshit supplement. Tiny bodies do not process things the same way as adults and kidney/liver functions can be severely affected… Atlas should flush the supplement crap down the toilet.
Even if babies could take supplements, why would she need to? Isn't she still breastfeeding/pumping? And if so, why isn't her natural mother's milk enough?

a really good point there! Surely her taking the supplement and breastfeeding will give both her and baby the benefit!

Also this scary study came up when I tried researching… Aloe induced toxic colitis in bfed baby
A full term baby was admitted to the neonatal unit with poor feeding on day 2 of life. Breastfeeding was subsequently established and she was discharged on day 3. She was readmitted on day 8 after being reviewed by a public health nurse in the community. She had lost 10% of her birth weight and was described as feeding poorly. On admission, fresh blood was noted in her faeces. She was breastfed and had not received any formula feeds. Over the next 2 days she developed profuse watery diarrhoea. On day 10 she was severely dehydrated and had lost 16% of her birth weight. A capillary blood gas revealed a metabolic acidosis with pH 7.09, bicarbonate 18.5, lactate 4.7, and base excess of –11.3. The infant was treated for hypovolaemic shock, initially given fluid boluses amounting to 30 mL/kg, and was also commenced on broad spectrum antibiotics, gentamicin, and teicoplanin. An abdominal X-ray displayed distension of bowel loops and bowel wall thickening consistent with colitis. Initial C-reactive protein (CRP) was normal. However, the CRP on the following day was raised at 30, but this normalised 48 h later. All parameters of the full blood count were normal. Stool samples were negative for ova, cysts, bacteria, and viruses including rotavirus. Metabolic screen including serum amino acids, urine organic acids, ammonia, and acylcarnitine profile was normal. Oral feeding was discontinued and fluid losses were replaced over 36 h. In total, she received 5 days of parenteral nutrition and intravenous antibiotics.
On closer questioning, it appeared that the infant’s mother had consumed 2 L of Aloe Vera King

Now I was very aware of the laxative effect, aloe is often found in ‘miracle cleanse’ or ‘magic detox’ bullshit, and I was aware that supplements are usually unregulated and often have quite severe side effects in high dosages (example 5htp is shilled as an anxiety cure, but serotonin syndrome may occur if taken with antidepressants…)… as they are unregulated doses are often way too high and safety cannot be guaranteed if taken over a long period of time. To then risk your children? Ugh.

I did come across many negative articles about the owners of her aloewhateverbrand stuff too. Links to EvolvHealth and Mannatech.
Cited owners of Alovea are:

  1. Nations Changer Movement Network, owned by Sungun Hong and Mijin Kim and
  2. MannaRelief, owned by Sam and Linda Caster.
Mr. Caster resigned from Mannatech after some legal trouble.
a series of material misrepresentations; specifically: failing to control its sales associates and allowing them to make false claims concerning the efficacy of Mannatech products.
And
operating an illegal marketing scheme in violation of state law.
Before that he was involved in other shills…
One of which was an electronic pest control device, ‘Electrocat’, that used vibrations to repel some bugs and small mammals, however “in January 1991, the Attorney General of Texas investigated the product and found that the Electrocat emitted no vibrations whatsoever.”
There was another, EMSquared, that used charity in its pitch, that did not last long.
Caster rebranded and started Alovea in 2020.

As with all mlms, they claim that their product cures everything from colds to arthritis, to cancer and aids. Their magic ingredient is so awesome and unique that they don’t bother contacting actual doctors or scientists to have it become actual cures worldwide, nor do they bother to have any sort of study done- bigpharma no trusty, but just trust me bro.

In the comments some reps popped up, with this one making outlandish claims thus disproving the article written. Lol.

She's going wild w/ 'fascia this, fascia that' on Instagram. I'd say about half her daily content now posted has to do with fascia. Ya know, just bc you just now learned that we have fascia doesn't mean that the cutting edge of science has to do with fascia, Robyn. She posted clips from a documentary called 'Strolling Under the Skin,' that looks pretty dated, and turns out it's from 2005. All the clips, of course, are about that fascination connective tissue: fascia. Bc, you know, the thing that will cure Luna is fascia therapy taught to her by WeFlow online, the one she's filling socks w/ cottonballs for and putting a blanket-filled sock ring around Luna's neck for.

I don't think anyone online gives a fuck about fascia, Robyn, and they don't wanna hear about that! What d'ya know? The aloe supplements you buy that are unregulated bc they're MLM proprietary blend supplements, that you poison your whole family with potentially, they also help re-build fascia?! No! Really? They help with everything Luna needs, including re-building bones! Wow! Crazy coincidence. The Universe really just puts everything in place doesn't it.

To give you an idea of how badly unregulated MLM supplements can be: in 2019 a coffee by Valentus, an MLM, that was like a 'skinny coffee' and was $70 per 30 servings or something, was all seized off the market and consumer warning put out, bc it was found to contain a prescription-only drug, and also a class-c scheduled drug! (And not even any of the fun ones!)

Around 4 to 6 months, babies exhaust their maternal iron stores and it isn't abundant in breast milk. Iron fortified cereal is a great thing to start at this time, with delicious vitamin C fruit slop to make it absorb better.

Give a warning with that shit.

Its a sliced open arm, clearly showing.all layers pf the skin, fat, tendon, muscle and FASCIA, just so no one else opens that without knowing what it is

Many years ago, baby cereal used to be all rhe rage, but now adays most physicians actually are heavily agiasnt baby cereals especially rice cereal which has trace amounts of arsenic. It's really only used in cases where the baby has very bad reflux or GERD and no other option is working to keep their milk down.

Most pediatricians are simply okay with rhe baby eating purees or baby led weening prepared iron rich foods

Is there where she's getting the idea that 'emotional trauma is stored in your fascia,' supposedly?
I assume she’s taking about myofascial release for stress, depression, etc. No shit massage feels good and helps your mood, but it’s not because your fascia is sentient.
