I had the feeling the whole mukbang and drama thing was a grift, didn’t take much thought in the era of Hamberlynn to realize that sad sacks killing themselves on camera make more money than people trying to inform and create real content. The question I had was if he could lose the weight or fail and become the monster he created. Obesity is instinctively recognizable as food addiction, but one couldn’t pull this off with hard drugs. The question still remains if he can keep it off or if losing weight was just another part of his cycle of hyper fixation on eating.

Either way, dude humiliated himself in front of millions and walked away with a big bag of cash, he’s probably one of the most successful male whores out there. Good for him, I guess.

Ozempic. He didn't lose all that fat naturally in 7 months, it's literally impossible. Also, had to have had that loose skin removal surgery, at least on his arms. His chest looks saggy af under that shirt. Anyway, is the whispered monologue thing still supposed to be kewl or something...?

It just stops you being hungry, it doesn't melt fat in you. The law of thermal dynamics still apply to him, Nick cannot create or destroy energy and fat is just energy.

He could have water fasted with ozempic, so what. That shit's still difficult.

It looks like he's lost half his body weight in 7 months, that's insane. I'm going with water fasting as it looks like he lost muscle too, fat people do have muscle due to carrying extra weight around all the time.

It was quite a health risk he was taking, though. I mean, it wasn't like he was wearing a fat suit or anything, and it's not like gaining 40 lbs for a movie role. He really did that to himself in real time. That was the one part his grift that I couldn't get my head around.

He's still eating like shit, though, and I think he's eating just as much. (Remember, when he was being performative he laid out way more than he actually ate.)

I wonder if Orlin lost all his extra weight too.
