2024 Halloween Merch Run

What would that be?
One time you did a merch run where the kiwi bird looked really cute, like more chibi like style if I remember correctly? Just something like that, it doesn't have to be complicated.

The other designs look cool but me personally I wouldn't want to wear it. I'm a simple woman, I like wearing cute stuff.

There's a fine balance here. Between making something cool and overdoing it and making it kinda cringe and pseudo-odinbro.

The sleeve ideas seem a bit over the top. To me, anyway. It would also probably drive the price quite a bit up. I did a seasonal gig at Fanatics many moons ago and every extra heat press option was $$$$$. Sleeves were also a total bitch and a half to do right.

Take whatever you end up with as your existing design, run it through an AI with the request to make it in a chibi style, and that'll cutify whatever you ask it to. It'll also make any human look like peter dinklage, proportion-wise.

I like it, honestly I tend to buy regardless of whether or not I particularly like it as I enjoy collecting them and they're great to wear to bed or whilst lounging around, but I like the conqueror Kiwi. Maybe they can rework the Chinese calendar to make this Qiwi part of the horoscope for the year of the Qover.

Bought the hoodie last year, this time again this year.

If anyone has any ideas I'm up for it. I can just commission a second sketch that's cuter and do orange on white or white on orange.

After seeing this thread I had an idea and started jotting it down. Still got a while to go but you can kind of see what I'm starting to go for here. Please excuse the roughness as I am a poor fucking bastard that can only use GIMP for some reason. but I had an idea of like a stylized frontal shot of a similar kind of kiwi to that image sent in OP but also possibly with shapes that could be taken as several scenery bits if looked at "wrong".
Not really hidden but yeah I'll update if and when I make progress. No clue f it'd be shirt material or not but it's something to do. Shirt design in OP looks cool enough that it's inspired me so I'd say that's a solid one.

Once again, nowhere near finished, just the shapes I have so far. Thing to focus on is the general shape of the eye and beak here as the rest is vague spitballing.

Checking the thread while typing this, some people apparently want something simple looking? I could try working something out there too. Going back to my usual multitasking of checking internet bullshit and trying to make stuff, got like 3 or 4 unrelated projects going I'm chipping away at the last few weeks in an effort to keep myself from going insane from the monotony lmao.

EDIT: As for the replacement for the belt, the logo seems fine there but you could also use like one of the knowledge associated symbols like odin's or whatever. I don't remember the exact ones it's been forever since I read up on norse shit in depth.

I suck at coming up with ideas, I used Ai to come up with a Halloween themed kiwi and this is what it gave me:

Which isn't bad, it's a cute bird, but not sure it goes with the KF theme.

Hopefully more creative kiwis can come up with something, I want to buy a cute Halloween hoodie.

Scandinavian prude kiwi, very cute. But why are the feet so detailed?

would wager the artist used (traced) this as foot reference...
at least, that's what I would have done

professional opinion:
  • overall, design is too busy
  • line weights/value weights aren't harmonious
  • skull eyes should be black, not white--for instance
  • details on helmet feel like an afterthought

feels like a draft. maybe it is a draft.

how much did you pay for that commission? [rhetorical question]

for a % of merch sales, i'd submit a design
