@Useful_Mistake I'm looking to change VPNs. Is there a particular one you'd recommend? Ta.
See:
I personally use Mullvad.
I also use Mullvad. Extremely straightforward, you can pay in anonymous cash, and no controversies as of yet. They have been visited by Swedish police (they are located in Gothenburg) and the police had to shrug and go home with their thumbs up their asses because there was literally no user data to be retrieved.

Is PIA still decent? I bought a three year plan when it was like 90% off from a youtube promo and got got with a renewal when that expired lol, still got about two years left before that runs out. I basically only use it to pirate chinese cartoons so I'm low on the totem pole as far as dastardly deeds go but I'd prefer to have the best at the time if I'm going to pay for something

They keep logs and have given people up before. If its just torrents you are probably ok.

Do you think it was your buddy that shared the info, or one of those D.C. spies that hang out at bars for such juicy info?

One of the subjects in the "Gorl World" part of this site (DCMediagirl) claimed that her job was exactly that. Hang out in bars and listen for people to start spilling the beans to their friends.
I guess when you have a job involving politics at all, you can't really have conversations with anyone without being extremely suspicious of anyone and everyone.
If you have a good friend…
Loyal and true,
Fuck him, my friend…
Before he fucks you.

I am not really sure not debating Trump three times is going to work for kamala..... Every debate is an opportunity to debase your opponent... If you fuck up one debate, you can make it up the second time....

But apparently kamala is so bad that they have zero confidence in her going into the first debate...

It's her only debate.

I've seen people say that before but in the examples they cited it was because the feds came to them with a warrant and said "Record logs for this account and give us a copy" which I assume any other US based VPN would do as well, do they just proactively log now?

I was talking to a friend and he said that he saw a chart comparing "things under Trump to things under Kamala" then said "well, Kamala hasn't been in office so you can't really compare them." Is that the excuse they're going to bring up to ignore Kamala's performance during the debate?

To be fair, with how poorly Biden did during the last debate, they have a reason to not have confidence in Kamala, especially since she hasn't done much of anything over the past 4 years and still hasn't outlined much policy yet.

Strange trend there are Facebook, Google and Apple becoming more compliant with requests over the years and Microsoft becoming less so. I wonder what's going on there. Perhaps it's because MS have a significant data centre presence in the EU (Ireland) and run European operations from there under EU privacy laws. In fact that's one reasons some businesses use Azure - they were happier about MS's compliance with the data not leaving the agreed region.

Judging by that map everyone should move to Greenland.
I genuinely believe that Trump's plan to buy Greenland was a good one and I hope he brings it back. Greenlanders would do well to take him up on it. Assuming it doesn't become a backdoor for immigration, mind you.

Except the Christcucks were always right. Being a whore, drug addict, and so on was bad.
Those weren't the Christcucks saying that.

That is actual Christians, Christcucks are folks like our favorite balldo wearer who will don the shroud of Religion at church and then throw it in the corner with the unwashed laundry the moment they get home.

LOL, they know she can't stay sober.
They're not government request for Surfshark user data. They're government requests to Apple, Google, Meta and Microsoft. Surfshark say they've never given any user data:

I saw that after I posted, because I'm a retard, but my statement still stands. Mullvad has basically stated they'll burn everything to the ground before giving up user data. They have my vote of confidence, so call me a fanboy.

"100%! ABC Airs TV’s Most Pro-Harris, Anti-Trump Evening Newscast"

"Vice President Kamala Harris will meet former President Donald Trump tomorrow night for a debate hosted by ABC News, and she could not have chosen a friendlier forum for their first encounter. A new study by the Media Research Center finds that, of the Big Three evening newscasts, ABC’s World News Tonight has been the most positive towards Harris and the most hostile to Trump.

MRC analysts reviewed all 100 campaign stories that aired on ABC’s World News Tonight from the day Harris entered the race (July 21) through September 6, including weekends. Our analysts found 25 clearly positive statements about Harris from reporters, anchors, voters or other non-partisan sources, with zero negative statements — none. That computes to a gravity-defying 100% positive spin score for the Vice President.

As for Trump, our analysts found just five clearly positive comments, vs. 66 negative statements, for a dismal 7 percent positive (93% negative) spin score."

In the CNN exclusive sit-down interview, Harris also said she would name a Republican to serve in her Cabinet if elected.
Adam Kinzinger as head of the FBI.
While FBI is not a cabinet position, I think I made a good prediction...

Adam Kinzinger would ‘certainly’ be open to serving in Kamala Harris’ cabinet

TORONTO — Former Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger, one of 10 Republican House members to vote for President Donald Trump’s impeachment in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 insurrection, would “certainly” be open to serving in Kamala Harris’ cabinet should she win in November, he told The Times on Sunday.

“I love defense. I love foreign policy. And I think that’s where she’s frankly shown she’s a little more hawkish than Democrats have been, so that would be a good area to bring a standard Republican in,” Kinzinger said in an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, where his new documentary, “The Last Republican,” had its world premiere on Saturday. “I want her to win. I want her to succeed. The most important issue that this country is facing, which doesn’t get enough attention to me, is Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against a Russian invasion. She’s the best counter for that, and I would love to help her in any way achieve that goal.”

Kinzinger’s name was among those floated by political observers after Vice President Harris, in a recent interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, said that she would nominate a Republican to her cabinet if elected.

In the interview Kinzinger, who spoke on Harris’ behalf at the Democratic National Convention last month, also weighed in on which Republican officials he’d like to see endorse the Democratic ticket. Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter, former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, last week joined the growing list of Republicans to throw their support behind Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

“We’re not going to get 20% of Republicans. If we can cross 5% to even 10%, this can guarantee a Harris victory, because it’s going to be this close,” he said, explaining why he thinks such cross-partisan endorsements are so important. “So I think the ones that have yet to speak out are, people like Mark Esper, who was the Defense secretary. Really anybody in Donald Trump’s cabinet. Almost none of his former cabinet members have endorsed him, which is incredible. I really would like to see [former Vice President] Mike Pence take the step of saying, ‘I’m not going to write somebody in.’ I mean, it is your right as an American to write somebody in. If you literally can’t stomach Harris, fine. write somebody in and don’t vote for Trump. But let’s be realistic here. You really have two choices for president. I’d love to see General [John F.] Kelly, [former White House chief of staff]; H.R. McMaster, [former national security advisor]; [and other] people in the national security establishment that know the damage that Donald Trump could do. They need to warn fellow Republicans, because there’s still a lot of Republicans that care about national security.”

Kinzinger also noted that he wishes George W. Bush would speak out, though he acknowledged that Bush’s office has said neither the former president nor former First Lady Laura Bush plan to make an endorsement in the 2024 election.

As to the prospect of a contested election or Trump victory, Kinzinger expressed deep concern. Although he said he does not fear another insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, he does worry about the intense pressure on Republicans at the state level to decline to certify an outcome in Harris’ favor — and the presence of militias who could overrun state houses that have “1/500th the security” of Congress.

Kinzinger added that he doesn’t believe Trumpism can survive another Trump term.

“No president comes out more popular,” he said. “It’ll burn itself out, because they’ll have the instruments of power, they’ll fail to do what he promised, and everybody will kind of get worn out. But the question is, what damage is done over that four years?”

What are the odds that ABC is merely fluffing up Harris so she feels comfortable doing the debate, then will be more neutral during the debate because either the see the writing on the wall or just want ratings?
