That threw me off too. For a second I thought Tommy was creating a new lie instead of rehashing an old one and I got kind of excited.

While the thread isn't as active I'm glad the mood of the thread has become more of an observe and catalog thing. Just keeping track of the shit he tells people has already had a notable influence in his life. I imagine in the 90's and 00's every new person he met was a potential mark. Now he has to worry about the things he's done and said catching up with him and making him radioactive to another community he's trying to exploit. I'm okay with that being how his life works from now on.

There are at least two articles about the shootings. One is rather long with info on Tommy buried appx 3/4 down from top (if memory serves) and another that deals with just the shooting, like two paragraphs.

it doesn't exist. if any speculation of that nature was made, it was a disgruntled home owner. i also don' t make a mess in the trash. there is a front page story in the LA times on november with the top banner "homeless man shot on venice beach" that has never been posted and i have been unable to retrieve from their morgue. there was also a story in the LA weekly about it later in november nobody has found. there's actually quite a bit of major media and government documentation on me archived you mean, stupid, chickenshit anonymous keyboard commandos haven't gotten anywhere near yet.
