tbf "get a bunch of fried chicken (and fixin's) " is actually a really great way to handle Christmas dinner, it's basically stress-free prepwise, fun enough to be distinctive of a holiday, casual enough to make it good for a friends/family party rather than a formal sit-down

Her being the first "female president" would set such a dogshit precedent for other potential female candidates. It might even ruin a decent woman's chances of getting in in another election due to the sour taste it would leave in everyones mouths for years to come.

That happened in Canada. Mulroney was so unpopular by the end of his terms that he virtually sunk the PC party for a decade (minus Joe Clark standing fast). Mulroney stepped down as party leader, was replaced by Kim Campbell (OMG the first female Prime Minister of Canada!!!), who willingly helmed the party as it destructed. Here we are, IIRC 32 years later, not another female PM. Funny that.
