Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

Name a public figure who has ever apologize unprompted by backlash.

Heaven forbid someone has a fringe opinion on a public event that had some wierd things going on. The parents (with fed help) attacking Jones the way they did was the government testing the water on a new avenue to curtail freedom of speech. Because it involved dead kids it made it hard for people to publicly defend Jones without seeming like the bad guy. The next guy to get the Jones treatment would be over something like spreading election fraud "conspiracies".

As for the grifting over the tragedy, is he any worse than true crime channels? They get thousands of dollars a month specifically to talk about kids getting raped and murdered while Jones just talks about conspiracies and one got a bit too spicy.

Holy fuck, you're actually retarded.

I'm sick and tired of being recommended identical fucking thumbnails that look like this.

Could be worse:

Same stupid screaming face in almost every video.

I don't think Baz can do this much longer without losing his humanity and becoming a ghoulish creature. Someone should join his Discord server to see what kind of high-quality material his underage fans are recommending he should watch.

Does "found footage" falls into the category of "analog horror"? If so, is there any where the person behind the camera is packing heat or, at least, semi-competent at not being a total waste of oxygen?
Seeing it from this perspective makes me think that at least some analogs were inspired by found footage or at least by that criticism. A lot of analogs pretty much feel like someone using a VHS tape as a diary in the most inconvenient way possible and a lot of them work on the premise that they are revealed to the greater audience way after the fact. Most of the time, analog creators get away with shitty effects by doing intentionally shitty camera-work.

You fucker. They aren't found footage, they are worse.

I thought this was a shitpost but its unfortunately real

The worst part is that using the inside out emotions to depict Riley going through and handling a traumatic event sounds pretty clever, but they went for the dime-a-dozen MS paint "infection" story with out of place analogue horror presentation even though nobody's even recording these events, and even if they were, the original movie's set in like 2015, so it wouldn't be with VHS.

That might give the series the "spoopy lost episode"-esque thing they want to go for. An unreleased draft of Inside out in VHS? Yet, as you mentioned, it would still be a typical shitty anal horror based on existing properties.

Indeed, and the equipment needed for good effects is dirt cheap: just VCR player, portable DVD player and a TV tuner plus basic video editing/CD burning software. And you don't even have to care about bitrate because hey, the worse quality - the "better", and youtube will fuck it up anyway.

I remember some retard commenting under SkyCorp tutorial that autentic effects are not worth it because installing Nero BurningRom automatically puts you on FBI watchlist, fucking lol

Here's an interesting J-Alert scenario I found made by a Japanese user, and I think it's pretty cool. It's not really analog horror so much as it's a straight science fiction/disaster story, but it seems to be inspired by a lot of Tokusatsu works - it reminded me a lot of Dogora. Switch on the captions for this one!

I feel like J-Alert is an underrated medium for found footage horror works - it's designed to be as inoffensive yet simultaneously urgent as possible, and doesn't waste any time with longwinded or wordy explanations, instead simply displaying exactly what's happening, when it's going to impact a given area, and when to get the hell out of wherever it's heading for, which is a really good opportunity for building atmosphere.

Noticing something weird with the analog horror crowd on YouTube that bitch about horror going too far and crying about sleep away camp being transphobic. They all appear to hate Longlegs for similar reasons. It is canon that Satan exists in the movie universe, and they think it is pro-religious propaganda. Or they cry transphobia. Red Letter Media praised Longlegs and didn't mean the villain being satanic. Not too long ago, I saw a breadtuber re-brand herself as a horror channel bashing unsolved mysteries for being pro-colonialism and Satanism shaming. Do these people think the terrifier series is a pro-Christian film series because it's canon Art the clown being kept alive by demonic magic, and he has a weakness against holy weapons? Is the devil being a bad guy in anything not religious entertainment a taboo now?

Satanism shaming
Yes, I think we should all shame a religion (any religion) that promotes mindless hedonism and pseudo-nihilistic gobbledygook. It's almost like certain beliefs are bad.

I'm not a Christian. I believe in God but not the Bible in its literal sense, but it's quite amusing seeing all these anti Christians live in self-made misery all in the name of going against God. Why believe in Hell when these people create their own Hell while alive? Imagine being offended over horror movies because of such schizo reasons. No better than Evangelicals.

Nu-Satanists are some of the weakest bunch for trying to reframe Satanism as an "athiest religion" of muh "freedom" just to get the christcucks mad but they keep getting assmad everytime people go on the tried and true depictions of Satan being fucking evil

Sort of a self own really

Honestly, what really gets me most about all of these depictions of Christianity or satanism isn't that they are present, it's that the people using them never fucking do their research well enough to portray them properly. I'll just out myself here and say that I'm not a Christian, but I have read the Bible and I know a fair bit about Christianity because I find it interesting, and I don't hold any particular antipathy towards Christianity. When someone like me can look at a series and immediately point out the glaring biblical flaws and obvious mistakes the author is making with regards to biblical canon, that's a problem. It's also not usually some artistic license that they are taking, but it's flat out mistakes in interpretations of scripture, and basic level ones.
What's even worse is when someone like Wendidoon fails to notice those same errors because he's practically illiterate when it comes to the more esoteric sections of his religion, but that's another topic.
They also never have the balls to use Islam or Judaism, but I'm pretty sure if you tried you'd get taken down from any mainstream site pretty quickly. I really just wish that someone would make actual "analog" horror using the Abrahamic theologies in a way that represents them properly, because there is a lot of potential there. Sadly, because most of the people who make this shit are members of your typical lefty art student demographic, it's unlikely that's going to happen. After all, actually reading the Bible might legitimize the viewpoints of people that they don't like, or worse, they could find themselves agreeing with it.
