I never really thought of it that way, but you know what? This is spot on. Both of them run their states like a policy test kitchen for their parties and lack the charisma necessary for broader appeal.

Trump is smart to allow Kennedy to do his own thing and be in a large spotlight. Vivek could not pull this off as well and I can't think of any others in this category.

Kennedy has a lot of winning propositions and they need to continue to let him go out and speak to those. If he can drag MAGA closer to a healthy diet and a strong body sourced from good, safe foods... that's fucking perfect.

Agreed; if Hirohito had "converted" at the tip of a (hypothetical) sword, that would have further cemented the idea of Christianity being a "foreign" religion just as much as it had been when the country had been closed to "barbarian outsiders", and it would gave gone completely against the tenets of the faith (as FILTH Tourist stated).

Lets not pretend that those leaks weren't for good goddamn reason as well, the US 100% acts as a bully to not just foreign nations and their people, but also to our own people, and the people in charge use poor fuckers to bomb aid workers that we know are aid workers simply because some guy in the command structure gets off on it.

Also fucking Assange and whoever else has 0 obligation to report or publish on other nations fuckups, same as a Russian reporting on Russians, or an Iranian reporting Iranians, or a Chinaman being unable to because his social credit score is too low to use an internet cafe. America is the most important country in the world, the actions of some faggot in some position nobody's heard of directly affects thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people when they decide to do some fucked up shit. Someone aught to focus their entire life in ripping the star spangled curtains back to show the bullshit they hide from us, or would you rather we never know and instead wallow in malicious mediocrity?

Julian Assange was the person who publicly implied that Seth Rich was murdered for leaking to the DNC - but provided no evidence that Seth Rich was a leaker or that the DNC had anything to do with it. It all originated from Assange, a person I am highly suspicious of in terms of his motives and behaviours. That was my original point.

My overall point about Wikileaks is simple: they are very selective about what they obtain and publish. As an organization, they have an obvious bias, and I don't care for it. It's hard to take them seriously when they say they want to hold governments accountable, but only do so for particular countries.

I appreciate you posting your arguments and opinions rationally and without being a cunt about it.
