I very much doubt 100% it's an ARG, but for future reference, there's two UK forums which time and again I've ended up on which have been about for years and tend to be where you will find weird little mentions of things that you don't find anywhere else.

One is a comedy forum, originally to talk about the work of Chris Morris, called Cook'd and Bombd..
The other is Readytogo, mainly a Sunderland AFC forum that for some reason is absolutely massive and nationally used.

It's not really bizarre, it's just how "Places outside of the US" work. I know americans have a predisposition to record any karen they see so let me give you an example.

I used to know somebody who always told me stories about a crazy hag with dementia that lived next to his school, and when I looked into it, according to even the principal the hag was so insane she'd pull out a shotgun and threaten children to stop kicking balls so hard or she'd "discipline" them.

Nobody else but people at that school KNEW that old hag. These things DO happen. It's why I'm not exactly surprised, but also I am hard advocating to get as much info as possible and archive it as needed be.
