So this happened re: Kim's recent traffic case. 
"Defendant's family member called in stating def[endant] has a current warrant with another court and violated her probation", coupled with a Failure to Appear warrant issued on Aug 20th.
No wonder the dumb bitch is MIA.
Also, Dalton had a hearing yesterday re: his multiple felony charges for terroristic threatening. Can a lawfag clarify exactly what this note means?

I'm not sure what all of the omnibus shit means, other than D means defendant. I guess he denies it all and since Kim dropped all PPOs, they're trying to force the state to show their hand.
Jury trial scheduled for 10/24/24
ETA - I'm going to go out on a limb and assume Kim was not in attendance for the omnibus hearing.

It’s essentially going to be a pre-trial conference between the prosecutor, public defender and judge. Dalton is ready to go forward and the state is agreeing to make its case/evidence/list of witnesses available to the defense.So this happened re: Kim's recent traffic case.

I would be shocked if this doesn’t end in a plea, but the thing is, you can’t force a client to take a plea. You can plead with them, explain, browbeat them, bribe them with a Mt Dew a pack of smokes, etc (that last part is a lame attempt at humour) but you cannot force them to not go to either a jury or bench trial.
Dalton is dumb as fuck (and that’s insulting to fuck), but I could see a defense attorney being able to persuade him under normal circumstances. However, I can see him digging in and resisting a plea because of “muh babby.” The other issue with a plea is that the defendant must address the court and show they can articulate what it is they’re pleading to and the sentence they are accepting. I don’t know if he can do that, even with a color coded flow chart and his attorney assisting him. I’ve seen some very, very, very stupid people accept a plea in AR, but I still question Dalton’s ability to convince a judge he can understand the situation, the consequences, etc. I’ve seen a judge listen to a defendant (only once in roughly 10 years but still) and rule that he didn’t feel comfortable accepting their plea based on their ability to understand and set it for a trial instead. Pleas are essential to keep the court running smoothly (imagine if every single case went to trial), and generally it’s the best outcome for all, so for this to happen is very rare. I can see it happening with Dalton.

I've been keeping an eye on this one Kim profile that was started at the beginning of August. It suddenly has 3 friends where previously it didn't have any.

Was the picture with all her hospital nametags stuck onto the ceiling of her vehicle shared on the MATI? It is one of my favorite non-Sammie things in this thread. Can't explain it. Just bizzare.
Hope Zaiden is enjoying his hospital family, he has been there for awhile and it was deduced that Kim and Dalton cannot be getting byfor photo ops to see him that often.

It’s just anecdotal but incidentally I was talking to a nurse who works on the maternity and also nicu ward who talked about nicu babies who don’t have anyone to come visit them or care for them. She told me how some parents with a single room for baby will frequently just leave without warning and the nurses will find the baby in there alone, how some nicu patients don’t even have their mom or family come visit them at all during their stays of various lengths. She said in those cases they generally send in social services before releasing the baby once well enough because they haven’t seen the parents show capability or concern in action to make sure they’re competent enough to take their baby home and safely care for them. I wonder if Kim is having to deal with social services, even as a routine thing.

That’s crazy to me, as the mom of a (former) NICU baby. I was in there as much as they would allow me to be. Absolutely heartbreaking to think of those little nuggets in there without that. My kid knew I was there (not just a person but his mom); I can’t imagine not having been there. It takes a special person (in a good way) to work on the NICU ward and it takes a special POS to abandon your NICU baby.
