This is what I miss. Not living in scarcity. Being able to relax, to fuck around even, but basically not being in the rat race if youre lucky, and being able to actually chill and afford places to live.
Used to know a lot of punks and alternative people in the region renting apartments, a semi-decent art scene in the general region, etc.
Now most of those people are unironically dead, homeless, or basically crazy and living in near poverty while fully normalized. Its sad tbh
Foreigners are doing this more than anyone. People who have roots are less likely to leave. Have some hopium. They're quietly withdrawing, saving up money and trying to get out of here.
A group representing almost 100 of Canada’s universities is warning the impact from the federal government’s cap on international students will be “far greater” than what Ottawa aimed for.
Gabriel Miller, president of Universities Canada, told Global News when the schools officially finish counting how many students have arrived and enrolled, there will be at least a 45 per cent drop of international students. The final tally will be reported in October.
“There’s every possibility that it’s going to be even worse than we fear,” he said in an interview Saturday. “But it’s important to note that we’re already in territory that no one anticipated and that needs to set off a big alarm bell in Ottawa that we need to start turning this around right away.
You see, the colleges absolutely must do their part to turn you into an impoverished minority in your own country. If they didn't, they might make less money!Miller said Universities Canada is concerned over the impact the cap could have on future enrolment, saying international students are a “huge asset” to schools. He said they “enrich the educational experience,” as well as contribute funds to provide education to Canadians and are economic contributors to the country.
I hate university administrations so much, particularly because I used to be employed by one. I think it's a pretty safe bet to say there isn't a single big university—especially in this country—that is properly managed by competent people. Some good news.

Good. Cry, ya cunt. You education fucks played a big hand in ruining this country with your greed.Uni faggot said:“There’s every possibility that it’s going to be even worse than we fear,”
They fund pointless diversity hires, expansions of the bureaucracy, and endless programs that contribute nothing of value, like faculties of 18th century Irish homosexual poetry. And salary increases for executives. These institutions as 'non-profits' is purely a legal fiction. And that's not even getting into the diploma mills that most of these 'students' go to, which are just all but openly fraudulent.I hate university administrations so much, particularly because I used to be employed by one. They're fucking parasites that get dollar signs in their eyes and jump at any potential revenue stream so they can waste the money on more useless programs, more unnecessary engineering buildings, or bigger salaries and bonuses. God knows they won't put a single penny towards improving the lives of their students and faculty; only improving their public image by projecting success to secure even more funding.
Good. Cry, ya cunt. You education fucks played a big hand in ruining this country with your greed.
Remember: International student tuitions are a fair bit higher than domestic. They fund a lot of programs off this difference.
Haven't watched C*nadian network TV in almost 20 years. I used to have the Comedy network on as background noise but I've barely thought about cable in nearly 2 decades.I bet they have. I don't watch Canadian tv very often but when I do why is it that there's no all white commercials? There are plenty with exclusively non-white casts but none with just everyone white.
Like 10ish years ago, maybe earlier, CBC was running stories about Bell call center employees ripping people off at the behest of management. I'm shitposting from the moose factory so I can't hunt down articles right now.Would CBC report on such a story?
So that's where they come from! I knew those fuckers were too big to be real.the moose factory
Honestly, its worse than that. Its a literal ponzi scheme of a system that exhausted the native population, and now has become reliant on foreign students for funding, thus further exhausting and fucking the native population. They fund pointless diversity hires, expansions of the bureaucracy, and endless programs that contribute nothing of value, like faculties of 18th century Irish homosexual poetry. And salary increases for executives. These institutions as 'non-profits' is purely a legal fiction. “Not to make it political HURR DURR!”
Is what the headline should read.Sikh family comes to Canada to scam, lie, and cheat the systems with claims of racism for providing life saving care that we do not give out to our own.
An Ontario hospital network says it will conduct an "extensive review" of an incident in which an elderly Sikh patient was shaved last month without permission from him or his family and in violation of his religious principles.
SUREKaler had never shaved or cut his beard in his life before this incident, the organization said.
Shaving or removal of hair is a violation of the beliefs of practicing Sikhs, the WSO said. Unshorn hair and beards are one of the five articles of faith for baptized Sikhs
"We are shocked and deeply saddened by the incident that took place with Mr. Kaler," WSO President Danish Singh said in the release.
SO WHAT HAPPENED? Why did they need to shave his face?"Despite specific instructions by his family not to shave him, Mr. Kaler still had his faith violated in such an egregious fashion. Given that Brampton is home to the largest Sikh population in Canada, it is inconceivable that such disregard for Sikh faith practices could occur at Brampton Civic Hospital," Singh said.
Oh, that sounds really bad!Jasjit Dhaliwal, Kaler's son-in-law, said his father-in-law fell down about 15 steps onto a hard floor around July 26, leaving him unconscious.
Wait, what was that?Kaler was taken to Brampton Civic Hospital, then transferred to the trauma centre at St. Michael's Hospital, where he was treated for about a month. He suffered internal bleeding in his head, fractured his skull in three places, fractured his jaw and his ribs and broke one of his arms, Dhaliwal said.
OH, so what the fuck is the problem?fractured his jaw
Are you fucking kidding me.Dhaliwal said the family then received a call from Brampton Civic Hospital asking if staff could shave Kaler's face but that no reason was provided. The family explained that members of the Sikh religion do not cut or shave their hair unless there is a medical reason.
One more time,Sikh religion do not cut or shave their hair unless there is a medical reason
there is a medical reason
So, aside from this just obviously being a scam claiming "racism" to get more fucking free money out of us... This also happened in Brampton. Meaning the chances of this being jeet on jeet statistically check out.fractured his jaw
NO REASON, NONE, NONE AT ALL THERE WAS LITERALLY NO REASON"Brampton had no medical reason at that time. None was provided to us," he said. "They just did what they wanted to do, I guess."
REALLY?!? IS IT REALLY? HOW SIR TELL ME PLEASE!Incident a 'very serious cultural violation,' prof says
They literally raped this poor jeet, how could YOU do this to him, whitey.Kerry Bowman, a bioethics professor at the University of Toronto, said he was horrified to hear of the incident and surprised because many hospitals have come a long way with cultural awareness. His doctoral research was in the area of cultural sensitivity.
"This is a very serious cultural violation," Bowman said. "There clearly was not consent. The argument cannot be made that they weren't able to access consent. They didn't have consent."
Bowman added, however, that he doesn't have all the details and that health care systems are under a lot of strain following the COVID-19 pandemic.
"But on the surface of it, I'm very shocked, I'm very surprised," he said. "It's very, very worrisome."
EXCLUSIVE: Ontario man with massive gapping hole on the side of his face struggles to get prompt healthcare in the province.
Graham Reid is a 67-year-old retired resident of Waterloo, Ontario, who finds himself grappling with the challenges of the province's deteriorating healthcare system. The Canadian Independent interviewed Mr. Reid and his wife, Ruby, to share their story.
Nearly two years ago, Graham noticed a small bump on the right side of his face, which he initially thought might be an ingrown hair. However, it progressively grew larger in the subsequent months. In July 2023, Graham visited his doctor, who referred him to a dermatologist. Unfortunately, the earliest available appointment was not until June of the following year.
Within a month or two, the bump developed into a significant hole on the right side of Graham's face. Concerned about the worsening condition, Graham went to the hospital, visiting several different emergency rooms and consulting multiple doctors over the months. Unfortunately, he was consistently advised to follow up with the dermatologist.
It wasn't until an emergency doctor in Tilsonburg examined Graham's face and promptly identified it as cancer that the situation took a different turn. A biopsy confirmed the cancer diagnosis, and Graham returned home, awaiting a scheduled day for surgical removal. Despite being assigned a surgery date of January 4, 2023, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener, Graham was disappointed to receive news from the hospital that, due to staffing issues, they would be unable to perform the surgery.
Graham faces uncertainty regarding the rescheduling of his surgery, reflecting the broader challenges many Ontarians encounter within the healthcare system. He emphasizes that he is not alone in facing healthcare issues and calls for immediate changes including government intervention.
Here was the recent updatehe Canadian Independent reached out to St. Mary’s Hospital for a comment but did not receive a response before publication. We will continue to monitor this story and bring you any updates as they develop.
How can you possibly become less radicalized the longer you live here? Don't lie to yourselves, pay attention and watch the world around you.The Canadian Independent is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Graham Reid, whose story we exposed back in January of this year. His family has informed us that the healthcare system continued to fail him, leading to his passing. More to come.
Yes. We live under a communist goyslop nightmare. My point being media people care more to highlight a stupid fucking story. About stupid fucking indians. With the most blatant retardation, a developed nation could ever experience.I've read stories like the above for the past 20 years. People fall through the cracks but its not a new problem.
Did I mention that 95% of those people are also fucking stupid? Your lack of anger and acceptance of rat like logic to achieve goals adds to the current dilemmas. Great advice if you haven't realized that. But spoiler, all these insane rapefuges are getting to the front of the line. While also taking every single extra good grace, or hand extended for them for every single pennies worth. You have to learn to navigate this stuff and not just shrug your shoulders and hope for the best.
Or the real Canadian Healthcare hack: If you live close to the border, see an American doctor and skip the line.If you go to an emergency room make sure you choose the right hospital because some are much busier than others. In my area there are 4 options, 1 is notorious for extremely long waits. If you have kids remember that basic emergency room care can be done at non-children's hospitals which are much less busy.
