In the disgusting vids I found from the DR of Haitian immigrants eating cats and dogs, one thing that stood out is that often they didn't even bother to dress or prepare the animals the way civilized normal people would prepare any animal for cooking. No skinning, no butchering, no draining blood or removing entrails, nothing. In one case- I didn't linger to watch the whole thing- it looked like they started roasting it over the fire while it was still alive.

There's something else going on besides just "me hungry see animal eat animal" stupidity. Meat tastes better when it's dressed and prepared properly. It doesn't take that much longer. There's some kind of sadism or I don't even know what going on. I don't know if I want to know. Just send them back.

The thread those videos are in, the one that's been covering this madness (I suggest people that are curious take a look at it, it's good to be less ignorant about atrocities,) @Cherry Eyed Hamster made a post that explains the reasoning behind the barbarism.

These sick fucks just don’t kill the animals either. They torture them in despicable ways because they believe that the more an animal fights back, the more strength the spirits will receive. They’ll slam the animals heads into objects until the animal dies or rip the head off by brute force. Absolutely evil, depraved shit.

It does give a frame of reference for certain... mindsets.

I didn't use the words "Great Britain" or "Britain" anywhere in my post. I said England and Scotland which were the two kingdoms that united. Wales is a principality. Look, the point is the legal basis for Greenland to join the USA. I only brought it up because I was trying to explain by analogy because you seem to think the King of Denmark has political authority over Greenland. I am telling you that if the people of Greenland in a popular referendum choose something they have that authority and cannot be gainsayed by the state of Denmark. Hell they could vote for independence without joining the USA and have it. That may happen anyway. There's been increasing move towards it. They've had full autonomy since 2009 barring some unified monetary integration. Hell they even left the EEC independently. They are NOT a political unity with Denmark. When it was suggested that Greenland join the USA it wasn't Denmark that shut it down, it was the Greenland Premier who said it wouldn't happen.

Stick to the point and either learn from what someone is telling you or refuse to be wrong on the Internet and start hitting Wikipedia looking for things to copy paste that sound like counter-arguments to you. Your choice but I am telling you Denmark doesn't get to say whether Greenland joins the USA or not. The USA and Greenland do and only those two. According to Denmark's official Government website it looks like you're wrong. Except for being able to vote for independence of course. (Although theoretically anywhere can do that as it's natural democracy.) The following seems to suggest that Denmark would in fact have to be the one to sell Greenland and it can't sell itself (unless it becomes independent):

The "pets being eaten" line is so pervasive now that my wife, who goes out of her way to avoid politics, heard about the story.

It's denial to "well, maybe pets should be be a good source of protein to combat climate change." I remember when they said the pride parade wasn't chanting "we are coming after children" and swept it to its reclaiming being a predator as a positive thing.
