Alright, I know this will get marked as gay, TMI, Islamic content, but I think it bears saying. If you have been circumcised, you can undo the damage. Mostly. Forewarning, I'm not a doctor so I might use the incorrect terminology but I do have some idea of what I'm talking about.
The long and short of it is the skin components of a normal uncircumcised penis are still there, hence the two-tone kind of look and the clear delineation in skin. The upper skin is the interior skin of the foreskin, the lower part is the normal penile skin. If you can lengthen these two parts in the right proportion, voila you have a normal penis again.
How do you do that? Mitosis via putting the skin under tension. It's the same concept as when you get fat. The body can tell that the skin is under tension, so it undergoes mitosis and creates more skin to alleviate that tension. There are a couple ways to do this and it's really up to personal preference but I'll list the three most popular. Manual methods use your hand to provide high tension for short periods of time. T-taping is a method that uses tape applied on the penis and some form of weight/straps to draw the tape and skin forward to provide tension. Devices are myriad but usually work by pushing the head of the penis down and drawing the skin up and providing tension through weight, straps, or inflation. If you've got no slack, you pretty much have to use a mnual method or tape to start out with, devices require a fair amount of excess skin.
According to the very few men who have been on both sides of the fence, you can get ~80% of the sensation you would have if you were uncircumcised back. More if you are lucky enough to have your frenulum somewhat intact. That's the banjo string on the underside of the tip and it's not at all uncommon to have had it fully removed. Sorry if it happened to you bros.
All that being said, restoration is not a short process by any means and it varies from person to person. How tight it was done and your age are big factors, and consistency is key. Even then multiple years is not unheard of.
Or you can wait for a company called Foregen, but that's probably still half a decade out. Their plan is to take a cadavers foreskin, do some science-y stuff to remove the cells but not the structure. and graft it onto the recipient whose cells will regenerate onto the structure or something along those lines. It's supposed to be able to return 100% function and sensitivity. Bit of a pipe dream if you ask me but I'm no dead penis doctor so what do I know.
