Remember how Obama changed the regulations such that it was literally impossible to make and sell small trucks for profit? And the idea was the auto makers would just eat shit for the cause, but instead they just sized up the trucks to avoid the regulations? Yeah they weren't supposed to do that, which resulted in much bitching and moaning from the clique who can't imagine anyone not living in a city with less than 250,000 people in it.

But they can't muck with the environmental rules to chase the trucks off the market, that would be admitting the Half Black King got something wrong, after all. So they're now going after them another way. After all, big trucks are scary, so they have to go! No one needs a fully loading assault truck, after all.

I feel like something funny is going to happen with the Haitians because last time Trump insulted them a bunch of comedians went to fake Haiti (Land owned by Cruise Lines) and it was discovered there was a trafficking ring right next door.

Haiti is a proper shithole, you can go read my post in the Haitian menace thread. It’s a third world shit hole propped up by the West. To give a very clear image of Haiti I’ll compare it to South Africa:

South Africa is like one of the most beautiful women in the world, but she has AIDS. Haiti is like a once beautiful woman who’s been beaten and abused, she now self-harms, is physically addicted to alcohol, and huffs airduster. Also she has treatment resistant AIDS.

Reliance on governance or for someone else to do something is for the weak, its the same mindset that helped ruin America its that fucking infant baby boomer mentality. All of the common posters here are as much pawns as those liberals or boogeymen they despise. We all know fedposting like "taking up arms" collectively would need to happen to truly "fix" or "restore" America. People are moralfags or apathetic and get hung up fighting about the details rather than the methods. I don't condone violence but it's pretty much the only remote solution or endgame I can see and even thats flawed since it would likely split America up again, anything is preferable to communism, socialism, and this godforsaken globohomo democracy. Alas, we just don't have that energy. The ones who do blow their loads too soon.

I think I was in 7th Grade when Waco happened and I remember eating my Fruity Pebbles every morning and watching the news about that on a little tv my mom had on the kitchen counter. I was utterly fascinated with that and only recently learned the full context of everything that happened (I think from a Netflix Documentary).

I'm honestly contemplating what I want for my next truck when my daughter gets my Gladiator in 6 years. I just redid it (got oversprayed at a plant and the paint was peeling off, so I just bedlined it) and spent a few extra grand replacing every bit of plastic that was on the exterior of this fucking thing. Fenders: Plastic, Bumpers: Plastic, Grill: Plastic. I don't go on particularly onerous trails, but I get back into the brush somewhat regularly and after a couple years, my front bumper was hanging on by a couple of clips, all that fancy plastic trim on the rear bumper was cracked because I got into some mud and the rear tire threw enough mud up into the rear plastic bumper that it swelled and cracked all the silver trim. It wasn't what I would call a real truck. It had a bed but it couldn't take a modicrum of abuse (but I guess it had crumple zones). Now it's literally all steel (down to the damn grill).

While it was getting painted, my Dad had surgery and couldn't drive for awhile and I was driving his hybrid F-150; which is everything I hate in a car. I don't need fancy ass screens, backup camera's teach bad habits (I literally watched my Dad get into my Grandfather's 1983 F-150, put it in reverse and look at the tape deck as he backed into a tree). My neck works fine. I live in Houston, I don't want to go into highish water with 450VDC Battery Packs strapped under my car?

I think I'm out of the modern car market now but if they're trying to make new vehicles even lamer, I'm definitely out. A new fullsize truck costs what? $60k? $80k if you want leather interior). I'm pretty sure I can get a crate driveline and a Fatman frame for considerably less than that. Vintage Air costs a couple grand and finding a good body out of a junkard in AZ or a swap meet isn't that hard. A painless wiring harness costs nothing and if you have the interior pieces a cust interior is not OMG Expensive. Slap a coat of paint on it (and I have an air compressor and kinda enjoy painting) and you're done for probably half the cost.

Or I just buy a CJ (I still have the Gladiator in the family and that's all the truck I really need), LS Swap it, replace the interior and Axles and call it a day.

Either way, I'm out.

Yeah. And I'm pretty sure if it's even close as blatant as last time, J6 will look like nothing. He has way more of a fanatic fanbase as then. Although yeah, usually nothing happens cause Americans are still fat, comfy, and lazy despite how shitty and pissy everyone is.

You know what I really fucking hate about new cars? They have all these requirements on side impact protection, which means they have super-thick side columns that pretty much fuck over your vision when you try and look behind you to check your blind spots. I learned how to drive a long time ago, well before all these fancy electronics, and maintaining vision of your car's surroundings was vital in those lessons.
