What conspiracy theories do you believe in? - Put your tinfoil hats on

They are tho. Footwear in general is too narrow and constricting. You have people with a bundled mess masquerading as fonctional feet and they think nothing of it.
Teeth too. The victims of Big Pharma, The Food Mafia and those scheming dentists that want to make the big bucks off your predicament.
I think it's less of a conspiracy and more people are just dumb and lazy and poor. They don't realize their shoe size is wrong because it's always been wrong. If you don't know how something should fit then you don't know it's causing problems. I've always had an odd sized foot, so instead of forcing it, I'd just skip fashionable stuff for comfort.

Only semi serious here but I have a theory: there are two elon musks. How does he have time to run 5 companies, have multiple wives and children, shitpost on Twitter all day, keep up with current bullshit, and still have time to watch anime? What if it's not 1 guy stretched really thin, but 2 guys working together? I know he doesn't take care of his kids or is all that involved with some of the companies, but he still has a nearly superhuman output that would be better explained by 2 guys.
He doesn’t really output all that much. Each of his businesses have large teams that handle 99.9%+ of the work. He has his own staff of personal assistants, lawyers, etc. who handle much of the remaining <0.1% of the work. What he receives are very likely condensed daily briefs, giving him ample time to shitpost online, watch anime, and knock up chicks. I’m sure he still has a very busy day but unless something is really pressing, he will take a hands off approach. Of course, it’s in his interest to make it look like he has time to do it all.

This is very much the same way major business leaders operate. Warren Buffett is not going to be kept abreast of alterations in the machines that make Blizzards at Dairy Queen but he’s skilled enough at PR to make you think he might just take enough of an interest.

I assume a lot of it has to do with modern shopping.

When was the last time most people went into a proper shoe store and had their feet measured the correct way? Probably not since they stopped growing as a teenager.

Combine that with online shopping and the dumbing down of the people staffing most urban footwear stores. They just ask what size you want, they don’t care what you need.

This applies to most clothing in general. Many people have never worn anything that’s properly tailored or got correct measurements.

What a neat circle of lies.
This board skews younger but people who think the modern USG is new or novel by blatantly lying about what they get up to don’t realize that what’s going on now is child’s play compared to the 2000s. Everyone knew, comedians made jokes about it, and the government did whatever they felt like anyway. A lot of the issues plaguing the current internet, like Dear Feeder being deplatformed, is sourced from the PATRIOT Act, a nearly thousand page bill that quickly got passed after 9/11. I have to laugh at the “does anyone miss the 2000s” thread when it’s entirely about pop culture, completely ignoring the staggering levels of fuckery that happened.

When I was young, Clarks the shoemakers (who made all their shoes in the UK) used to offer multiple widths for most of their shoes, along with mixed sizing for people whosefeet were differently sized enough to not fit in a same-sized pair, which is more common than you'd think. They were a bit expensive, but not unreasonably so, especially when the only other places you could get reasonably fitted shoes that actually accounted for the width of your toes were bespoke cobblers. Everyone else just had one standard width. Unfortunately someone in charge got the idea to chase profit above actual quality and sold everything off. They sell chink shit now.

Does the electric universe theory count as a conspiracy theory? It's one of my favorite theories because of all of the pseudointellectuals who promote it.

The short summary of the theory is that they believe that gravity isn't real and the whole universe runs off of plasma/static electricity. Additionally they believe that Saturn, Venus, Mars, and Earth had a mini system where Earth currently is now.

This is their projection of what it would have looked like from Earth. Venus and Saturn have a weird interaction that makes it so Venus creates a compass rose looking thing.

Something happens to unbalance the system and electric bolts strike earth and mars, creating the grand canyon/that big valley on Mars

They claim that we have archeological proof of this happening because ancient civilizations across the world show something that resembles a plasma discharge arc

During this time, something happened to move Mars, Venus, and Saturn to their current orbits. I have no idea what because when I asked I got yelled at. What's also interesting is that they can't produce any equations to describe the electric universe. As far as I can tell, their evidence hinges on these drawings and the grand canyon having the rough shape of an electric arc

AJ from the why files has a good episode on it

Pretty hard to pull off since quality control went to shit and even a given item from a specific brand does not get the exact same template for its different manufacturers.
Unfortunately someone in charge got the idea to chase profit above actual quality and sold everything off. They sell chink shit now.
Overpriced chinese shit at that. Shame, they used to be real comfy.

Overpriced chinese shit at that.
What's often overlooked is that China has the capability to make high quality products if you pay enough and it's still cheaper to make than in the USA. For example, Tesla cars made in China are higher quality than the ones made in the USA. Personally, I've commissioned custom jewelry from China that cost me 800 dollars vs the American price of 3000 with almost no difference in quality.

It's not enough to save money by shipping stuff to China, they deliberately pick the worst places.

loved that theory when i was younger, it's a fun one. There's less conspiracy-ish controversial theories in astronomy, at least they were 10 years ago i don't follow astronomy anymore, but Halton Arp and his theory on redshift was fun and the static rather than expanding universe theories, criticizing the big bang etc. I thought they were pretty good. I think his stuff veers into conspiracy because apparently his work was banned from conferences and there's some stuff saying he was banned from using the telescopes at institutions.

I found out about it from wignats on Twitter tying it to Saturn worship. What's stunning about it for me is the complete lack of any hard science behind it and the outright refusal to explain how the planets moved.

The other theories at least have some science behind them, even if they might not be correct.

We can go back to talking about how shoes are a conspiracy against people's feet
They are tho. Footwear in general is too narrow and constricting. You have people with a bundled mess masquerading as fonctional feet and they think nothing of it.

There are two factors in play here:
1. The "drop" (having your heel slightly up in shoes with padding)
2. The toebox

Zero-drop, wide-toebox shoes can do wonders for you. They force you to walk differently, they allow your feet to move back into a more natural weight distribution, and while the translation can take a bit, the payoff is worth it.
DM me if anyone is curious about my experience so we don't shit up the thread.

Consider too, that when people are weightlifting, the intentionally do the opposite: Hard, tall heels.

They don't realize their shoe size is wrong because it's always been wrong. If you don't know how something should fit then you don't know it's causing problems.

Most normie jews honestly have no direct knowledge or connection to the various jewish conspiracies. They're not lying about that. They genuinely believe it's all absurd bullshit, because their people would never do anything like that. They indirectly support and defend those conspiracies and their conspirators solely off the fact those conspirators are their cousins and the conspiracies advance the tribal interest. An example is how, out of any given jew you meet on the street, very few of them are involved in white genocide and very few of that majority accept the notion that any jew anywhere has ever been any sort of aggressor in any sort of conflict, but all of that majority still see whites as their cultural Satan-analogue and would still like to see fewer whites being alive by default.

>open up the conspiracy thread
>page after page, its jews

I don’t know what else I expected.
I would say far less Jew sperging and way more stuff about shoes and foot health. Not just the latest selection, its happened a few times where its page after page talking about how bad shoes are for your feet. The need for flat shoes or some shit.

Works though, I had a look and checked my shoe size. Brainwashing is really effective on me.
