Per the clip at the above linked post, Redbar elaborates it happened in California, it was a felony, there was a $10,000 bond, and Redbar has seen the record. No word as to what the final outcome was.

California's judicial record system is a notorious PITA (58 counties!), but I'll try to see if I can find it when I get some free time, or there is anything that can narrow down the search better.

in fairness to aaron, he's doing what howard stern used to do when he wanted some content from people who worked on the show, and it always produced classic moments (on the stern show)

I will call aaron out on his dweebnigga shit, and these tall tales he weaves of him being a Spectaculed, loopy titted Chad....

...however, i'm willing to give him a pass at trying to make content for his show that has nothing to do with drama

Wow - I dont remember Scott cheating on his wife. The Artie moments were particularly gross because Howard always veiled it in being concerned or “a bro” to Artie.., meanwhile, Artie was having serious problems with heroin and Howard barely noticed.

It's not like Artie went into that blind. All three of them were milking his condition for money, even Artie himself. They'd have been foolish to turn down the opportunity since it was good content. It's not like they were saying "hey go buy some blow Artie." They were telling him not to, that he was in bad fucking shape and even "your'e gonna die dude."

It's not like they wanted a major cash cow to die either. But they're all comedians and so long as they could use it for yuks and bucks they were going to. It's not like he was shitting himself in the corner while they pissed on him.

Considering the show has continued longer after he left (16 years now) than the time he was on (7 years), they apparently didn't really need Artie. Also, the guy tried to kill himself once in the 1990s. What Stern and Co. did was abhorrent, even if his stories were funny.
