I regretably went back and sat through the debate. Was a pretty retarded waste of time on my part, and probably everyone else's. My only stand out take away was Harris was really reaching for blue-collar workers in PA with supporting fracking and not being super anti-gun. In actuality I doubt they mean any of it, it's the customary shill to the area but was more conservative based which leads me to think they must really be pessimistic about PA if they are aiming at a demographic they've turned their back on so harshly.

Outside that it was the predictable retardation on all parts.

I felt offended when she mentioned polish immigrant.

Why would another debate with hostile moderators who lie for Kamala help him closer to the debate?

He would accept a debate if Kamala offered Fox and a townhall. He may accept a debate if Kamala makes some weaker concession too. He would accept not traditional medium. But after Chris Wallace on Fox and how Fox tried to turn on him after 2020 he would be dumb to trust them. He is a mega boomer.

The problem is Trump has made such a big deal challenging Kamala to multiple debates before this one and everyone has always known that the moderators would be against him. "Any time, any place", as many as possible he said. To flip-flop now looks bad and gives the Dems an easy "he's scared after being destroyed!" layup. I'm hoping his new refusal is to bait Kamala into foolishly doubling down so he can then call them on it and accept.

Fair, but Trump has absolutely no reason to allow that. He’d be only giving her an opportunity, and will almost certainly not get good enough terms to justify him giving her that opportunity.

She also had the chance to secure more debates and refused it. It’s simply ridiculous of her to demand she get a second chance now. A leader needs to be able to negotiate the fallout of their mistakes. Not demand a do-over because they have buyers remorse.

They literally took over a police station that was allowed to be abandoned during it. Jan 6th was mostly unarmed boomers running through the capitol. Very, very different situations.

They were not ment to be comparable. All the stuff the user I was replying to listed would happened to a conservative CHAZ happened to Jan6th boomers.

Trump has nothing else to say that he didn't say on the first debate. Unless you can drag Kamala to an unbiased debate, it's pointless. While Trump can be funny even if they pile on him, it doesn't result in much being said overall.

Everyone was expecting the debate to be Kamala trying to explain the state of the country from her perspective and her plan to fix it, what we got instead is "Trump bad" for two hours. The reason why the polls barely moved is because Kamala didn't really say anything and made it all about Trump, which is what the entire campaign has been. You'd think even dems would get sick of talking about Trump.

I wouldn't even take neutral grounds. Fuck it, just put her on Fox and have someone do to her what they did to Trump. If she doesn't agree then too bad.

That would not be true if the debate questions hadn't been leaked.

If this is accurate, then he has the authority to state that he will not negotiate with an entity that will knowingly lie and violate the debate rules, as it's impossible to have a reasonable discussion with such an entity, and his refusal would be easily justifiable.
