Why should overtime be taxed to begin with? That's not regular income for a typical work week. You mean to tell me this has been going on for years, and nobody dared say anything?
They total up your income from all of it. It's not separate now. Tip, OT all goes into you total amount and the taxed on that amount.

This actually will complicate it cause they'll make it into deductions probably. OT is still income. Income is taxed.

He's saying some income should be excluded, which is revolutionary in a way on fed taxes.

ETA: as far as I know, the only exception are gifts, like parents to kids. Up to $22k I think now that's not 'income'.

All the rest lumps into the net up and down at the end.

Splitting up W2 income like is big deal. Other stuff like if it's contract 1099 vs W2 has been different, but this isn't the same.

theres no distinction or definition for "typical work week". its income and so it gets taxed.

michael tracey has been asking people at the harris rally about dick cheney's endorsement and a lot of them hate the question. even scaramooch hated giving an answer.

Is it just me or did project 2025 disappear lmao

Outside Kamala occasionally mentioning it at her rallies and during the debate. Project 2025 very quickly lost steam once Trump openly started saying he has nothing to do with it. It being one of her first mentions I think was a mistake, because it proved very quickly her strat was just going to be "orange man bad" rather than any real policy discussion.

It's the same as how "they are weird", "joy" and "Coconut tree" kinda fizzled out very quickly. That Ben and Jerrys ice cream name is already a billion political years out of date by now.

I curiously note that tonight at out local bar haunt most of the more liberal people didn't come out this week. So they can't be that confident in the win if they want to lay low this week.

I feel fairly divorced from everyone however. I've gone much further right than I ever thought I would - occasionally I'm a little sad to know even trying to discuss politics with anyone else is pointless unless I want to fall out with people.

Good, someone needs to rub their nose in this filth constantly over and over again. The Cheney endorsement isn't even like one of those ones a candidate gets and pretends it doesn't exist, it is one Harris brought up and acted like it was a big deal to have.

I'm fully expecting the team that WROTE Project 2025 to disappear from obscurity. Maybe one of them will land some job as a informant or speaker. No way in hell that Trump would hire anybody involved in that document on his team. If anything, Project 2025 should be proof that neoconservatism is dying down without any platform to fall back on. They're just boogiemen that pose no threat to those that don't believe them.

I was worried Trump lost the juice and was cooked. I was proven wrong.
Trump could be having the worst day of his life and he would still be able to work a crowd. It's probably his greatest political strength.

On a side note Trump referring to himself in third person will never not be funny to me.

The person who basically the head person in outlining Project 2025 went on CNN or CBS and said Trump had nothing to do with and the origins went back to before Trump was even president.

Yes. It's always just been income. I hate getting OT unless I hit a certain amount, cause I did the napkin math once and realized they take about 40% off the OT I make immediately, which IIRC is more of a chunk than the non-OT. It just wasn't worth it.

Every time I buy a used car that's old as fuck I spit in the faces of current UAW workers and piss on their future pensions.
There's no UAW pension for the current guys, it's mainly 401ks. Or at least that's how it is for my place.
this whole thing with Trump refusing to debate again doesn't bode well in his favor imo and will help Kamala's poll numbers, I think the election is still a 50/50 and depends on like 3 states going either red or blue but Kamala has the advantage at the moment by a thread, regardless of who wins its gonna be a bloodbath afterwards
She's the one that constantly refused to do more than the most rigged debate possible and even then it was a wash. How is that bad for him?
They aren't talking about how Kamala did, outside of unpaid political ads they had written down a week or two ago.

They're not talking about her policies.

They're talking about Trump mentioning them eating Cats, and how Kamala let them in.

That's the only thing that will be remembered. That and him pointing out that Kamala has been in power for 4 years and she could do everything she's promising, but hasn't.
Trump knows marketing and what is meme warfare other than political marketing?
Just like JD Vance said, it took memes about cats and comments from Trump for people to start investigating what's going on
Turns out that a less restricted Twitter allows for memes to organically rise, and memes are notoriously hard to kill.
Which is why people who said Trump was stupid to bring it up are retarded, you now have everyone talking immigration and the Governor of Ohio sending state police and other resources into the town.
He's only sending them there to stop the situation from going worse for him.
Is it just me or did project 2025 disappear lmao
Turns out 'they're eating cats' is stronger meme warfare than 'project 3025'
Oh shit, big here too.

This shit ain't over guys.. That debate is a short harris boost, but it's a bigger thing going on, virtually civil war at the top all over, cross party.

Don't be a bitch. Release this in October.

...overtime has always been taxed harder than regular time.

I repeat, why didn't nobody tell me? I still don't understand it.
