YouTube Autism - Things that are worth laughing at but not worth a full thread.

I'm not sure how appropriate it is to this thread as it's more dark than funny, but any of you who've played Spelunky 2 may have seen YT videos from a user named Twiggle. He was a very significant player as he was the first to reach 7-99 and clear the cosmic ocean, approximately 1 month after the game released.

His most succesful endeavour would be his "Spelunked" video series, these were montages of humerous deaths and mishaps he encountered while playing:

Even just getting to the cosmic ocean is a huge challenge, one only 5% of Spelunky 2's steam players have accomplished as of writing this post. BEATING the cosmic ocean doesn't even have an achievement but I would wager it's around 0.01%. Yes I am just guessing.

Twiggle was doing fucking challenge runs through the cosmic ocean, going for multiple constellations (end game ratings, basically), genocide runs, eggplant runs, triple crown runs, even a cursed (aka no-hit) run, all while setting numerous score and speedrun world records throughout. He was objectively the best Spelunky 2 player.

Starting in February 2022, two years in to his career, he uploaded 5 strange videos seemingly replicating the style of 2005-2007 YouTube.

He then killed himself.

The videos are surreal knowing this, with how they harken back to an bygone era he was certainly a part of and and how he fixates on an old picture of a dead rat he took years ago on his iPod touch in "Rat - EP 2 (finale)".

I think these videos are the product of a mental breakdown preceeding his suicide. I don't know enough to speculate why he did it but I think it's safe to say that the sheer amount of time he devoted to Spelunky 2 means he didn't have much else going on. It being the height of Covid times couldn't have helped.

Its sad to read the old comments on these videos prior to his death saying they're happy he's back even if he is taking a weird new direction. Nobody realised where it was leading.

As an aside, the cosmic ocean music became synonymous with him in the community especially after he died, effectively becoming an unofficial theme song as evidenced by the comments here as well as most of his tributes featuring it:

I barely watched the guy and have a hard time keeping it straight when listening to it.

Don't kys.

The new age spiritualism side of YouTube is nothing new but I’ve found one of the best people on it. This Is Mariya Nurislamova, the CEO of Scentbird but when she’s not working on that she’s making such amazing YouTube videos such as these.

She also believes in Starseeds / Indigo Children

And to top it all off her YouTube thumbnails are all AI Generated (you could probably tell though). Overall this is average new age stuff but it’s more ridiculous since she’s a microceleb

What the fuck is this bullshit

Very interesting subject but holy shit everyone involved are faggots in a literal sense. The people that control us and getting into wars are so much dumber than we could imagine

I really hope this isn't a kid behind this channel that was recommended to me called Flopsy Reactions (using stuffed Jax and a random cat plushie to react to YT brainrot shorts), because the thumbnails are fucking yikes.

From what I can stomach, the content of the videos themselves doesn't contain NSFW content. But god, it's like pulling teeth trying to sit through this.

Dunno what other place to put this.

Thought these videos were unusually interesting and watched some. Then in this one here he starts making things political for no reason. Calls two characters alt-righters for talking about crime (like Team Rocket) while the other says Pokémon can be bad if their trainers are bad, which he likened to gun control for some reason. Then another house has what seems like a young couple, so he declares them Republicans because they "married right out of high school". Very strange and sudden shit that wasn't present in the half-dozen videos of his I watched before this.

This would've fit well in the Pokemon thread. Guess someone could crosspost it.

Cloudthebest is one of many youtubers who are willing to do anything for a sliver of internet clout. In his case, he decided the best way to go about this is to hire two people to pose as his parents, claiming that he spent 8 years of his life lying to his "parents" that he was in college and going into medical residency with the $200,000 provided by his parents. This drama unfolds with worse acting than a porn set.
It starts with him providing a fake confession to NMPlive, claiming he told his parents he's been going to college for 8 years, when really, he's spent that entire time funding his venture into becoming a Twitch streamer.

Once he notices his confession seems to be picking up the slightest amount of traction, he starts drooling and going on a social media frenzy, posting in every available outlet to get as many eyes on him as possible, though this entire act not believed by most people, he just ends up looking like a retard.
Here is the reddit thread he posted himself to r/nmpx. In this thread, a redditor provides a link to his Twitch VOD where he is seen talking to his mother(? sister?) on the phone, accompanied by the worst acting i think i have ever seen. I couldn't bear to watch the entire stream as it seemed pointless, but its clear this is a horrible stunt with terrible acting.
This guy is 26 years old with a grand total of 443 subscribers. His content is really nothing spectactular, so it seems like he could've possibly been fed up of it all and tried this retarded hail mary for clout.

Below is a youtube short made by him, where his "father" yells at him for wasting his money on his career on being a failed streamer.

I think the worst part is that he thinks this will be his big break, when most people are instead looking at this for a second and laughing. He's a 26 year old failure and needs to get a real job already.

MrTlexify has released a video defending himself from pedo allegations .
His proof includes police reports dating back to 2022 and various dms. He has also filed a lawsuit against his ex Reagan McNulty.

an update. I hate how this dudes shit is never condensed. I do not have the time to watch all of this.

Apparently she possesses CP and posted CP in her doc/video. She also put her nudes all through her doc from what I hear.

Here is another video covering it that is only 40 something minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhZeBIh56jE

Here is a censored archive of her video that removes the CP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiHOQmzyRZ0

I got this video recommended to me.

I just idly listened to it while working but the longer it went on the more I noticed this guy is essentially trying to undermine the ageold advice for children of "don't talk to strangers".

The entire video is filled with arguments like "children and family members do way more sexual abuse toward children" all the while criticising To Catch a Predator at every turn.

He is also including all the woke speech in his arguments, mentioning children that may be questioning and such...

Its almost like he wants to normalize children talking to strangers online...now what certain group of people wants that to be a reality-

Ah, of course. No correlation there surely?

"How wrong was To Catch a Predator giving the public a conception of what a 'sex offender' is?"

You mean showing the guys driving hours to meet a supposed minor they've been sexting?
Thats not a sex offender?
Say what you want about TCaP, that show was insane and borderline illegal due to entrapment but the sex offenders that were on the show are sex offenders.

Sorry for the shitty post, i'm on mobile

While he's right, it's also disingenuous. By the numbers, kids are much more likely to be abused the farthest they are from their families. Same with kids of single moms, they are much more likely to be abused than kids from more traditional families.

Oh yeah I am not denying that he is right about that.
He is just using this statistic to downplay the concept of stranger danger essentially.

To me it seems obvious that he is trying to normalize children talking to strangers online since thats how his community gains access to children.

And that disgusted me so much I had to make this post after watching only 30 minutes of that video.
It's like

"See? A child is way more likely to get abused by people they're around on a daily basis and not strangers! Only SOME strangers abuse them!!!"

It's so insidous and snake-like it made me skin crawl after I realized what he was saying.
I'll try and watch the whole video sometime, maybe make another post.
