Americans have owned less and less farmland and have fallen under extremist regulation to “equalize” and redistribute to foreign investment like Europe and China by selling off federally regulated tracts of land to the highest bidder. This has been an issue (or as they call a solution) in existence since the 90s and the fall of the Soviet Union. This is in essence Bill Clinton’s project coming to fruition. A new global economic system that feeds into national piggy banks by lowering production cost and raising taxation income.

Either way, the chances of Russia nuking anyone is extremely slim and definitely won't happen just if Ukraine gets the green light to use long range weapons. Russia probably has a higher readiness than the US since they actually bothered to check their weapons recently.

This can be referred to as "food miles": how far food goes from where it is grown to where it is consumed. The average piece of food you put in your mouth, if you live in the United States, has traveled 1500 miles to 2500 miles to get to you.

We can shit on the Chinese commies all we want, but their policy requires that 70% of food (and almost 100% of grain) for bare minimum starvation rations of major urban areas must come from within 250kms (155miles) of the city center. That would kill the subruban sprawl so hard though.

The other big issue was maintenance. Remember how we lost a missile silo in Arkansas because some dumb fucks dropped a 25lbs ratchet wrench causing an eventual explosion which ended up writing off the complex? I do. Plus it's not like the Russians are going to intercept US ICBMS outside of the Russian Far East, the ICBM issue is greater for Russia with US ABMs in Turkey, Poland and Korea.
