This is basically my experience with a lot of the 'commentators'. They don't stay in their lane and lose my respect. They would have done fine as a niche expert, but at some point an inflated ego makes them an expert on EVERYTHING.

Dumb actors and singers giving their political takes is on the same level, and most of these internet personalities don't have the millions that the properly famous cunts who shoot off their dumb opinions do.

Doesn´t he - and the overwhelming majority of internet comedians - base his podcast on his life experiences? His political musings are a part of it, just like some basement dwelling stunted boys screaming "ack ack ack, women amirite?" You dont have to have a sophisticated, well thought out perspective of the world to present it; the dumb shit just irk us when we dont agree with it, otherwise we just brushed it off.
I experienced it for the first time when I joined Twitter, reading people that I admired saying really dumb shit, and it was a shock, I cant imagine how dreadful it would be if they were real life commentators.

I am not for a total ban on people expressing opinions, but when they take an authoritative position based on A: Mockery (i.e. 'You would have to be an idiot to believe...' or 'No fan of mine would think...') or B: Present themselves as some expert (i.e. 'I have studied a long time and come to the conclusion that...' or 'Most people don't study or realise that...') that I have an issue.

One comes from ignorance, then other from arrogance.

We all know the old geezer who is going to express sentiments like, 'Back in my day...' or 'Kids these days...', but that is merely an ossified ideology and not an active effort to influence public discourse. The former is something an actual expert can discount, the second erodes actual understanding of a factual issue.

I may have been too general in my reply and it may apply to Aaron less than others. If Aaron wants to express opinions, go ahead, some people will think he is an idiot and others will listen. When he becomes dogmatic like many cows, then he deserves mockery.
