The real fun thing is if you do about 3 days of fasting, your body flips a switch and it starts pinpointing old shit that isn't working very well to break it down and use it up for energy first. This sounds bad, except that normally would happen regularly enough if not for our modern diets that it can be a huge rejuvenation effect on you. Suddenly old broken down muscles and the like are gone and replaced with fresh, properly working material. When I've done a 3 - 7 day fast I've noticed a marked improvement in my flexibility, stamina, strength, et cetera.

Also, at least for me, the hunger abates, The trick som1 gave me was to wait 1 hour before eating. Everytime, by waiting i realised i wasn't actually hungry. If somehow still hungry, a big glass of water/ snake juice solved it


Weirdly, the hardest part for me was always day 2. brain fog, general unpleasant feeling, headache etc, Once past i could continue to 5 easily. went to 7 a few times too.

Small town in the middle of nowhere gets cut off after 20+ American cities get nuked and most of the show's runtime was about how hard it was to get basic things with the logistics of the USA shut down. How do you get power without the power grid? How do you get food when your town's store isn't getting shipments in anymore?How do you get information/news when communications are cut off? How do you defend yourself from aggressive neighbours who want what you have and there's no government to protect you? How do you deal with refugees when you barely have enough food to feed you and yours?

It was pretty good for something that lasted only a season and a half.

The military industrial complex and the intel agencies nuke the biggest cities in the US (except NYC where NYPD foiled the plot) during the state of the union to decapitate the US government and take over. Exactly. Nixon is demonized to insane degrees. Though Trump has a lot of support and internet archives will hopefully remember, but I'm very sure the history books your kids will get in school won't be written by any magapedes unless huge structural changes happen. And this is assuming he wins and has a solid second term. If he either loses or gets killed, his name will be shat on for decades.
