The thing is, this
doesn't redpill normies because normies never see it, or if they do see it, it's a drop in a bucket of other events and they don't remember it ...but these policies stay on the books forever. So there is longterm negative effect, in exchange for zero or near-zero noticing.

might have seen that story; they
definitely don't remember the story. But for the rest of their life they will suffer the effects of it. Teachers will be dumber. Kids will be dumber. If you have kids, they wont learn. The people you interact with on the streets in NY will be dumber. And nobody will remember why.

What's really going to be funny is when we inevitably get a social credit score. In China, in certain cities, if a CCTV camera catches you jaywalking or tossing trash on the ground or spraying graffiti, they deduct a point from your score. It's a hugely dystopian vision of the future ...but at least you get clean streets, right?
